He doesn’t talk about graphics quality, but really feels like XSX has more sparse trees in the background (e.g. at the end on the boat), and the PS5 has more detailed textures at range. Will be interesting when DF looks at it.

@Mega-Gazz that makes sense. I think a betters SSD should allow for better view-draw distance.

Does anyone know how long the HDMI cable included in the ps5 box is? Curious if I’ll need to buy a separate cable to be long enough to reach.

By default, without downloading anything, can i not using any avatar logo, just keep it smiley face icon ?
Can i erase other avatar logo ?

@TheFrenchiestFry I bought Nioh 2 last month. At least it’s a free upgrade cause I would have been... not pleased if I had to pay for a remaster of a game not even a year old.

According to IGN, a download queue bug don't let you download, cancel and redownloaded a game you have just bought. The only solution seems to be a factory reset... Nice. Any news?

@andreoni79 I'm sure it will be fixed like all the other bugs with a future update patch.

My console will always be connected to the internet, but this is good for people that can't for whatever reason.

Has anyone tried to use thumbstick covers on the dualsense controller? My DS4’s all had the rubber tear off eventually, and got slippy as my hands got sweaty so I started to like the covers - but I wasn’t sure if it would dampen any of the haptics or whatnot.

@Mega-Gazz I haven't used them, but you should be fine. The haptics don't really come through the analog sticks. They are implemented throughout the controller's body.

So, this was unexpected - my Samsung’s TV remote seems to control my PS5, left/right/up/down and the middle seems to be x.

The fact that things have gotten so messy with this launch that some of us potentially have to wait upwards of two whole weeks before getting another shot at snagging one really hurts lol

@Mega-Gazz My remote for my Sony TV controls my ps4. Really handy with media apps as I don't like using the controller.

@get2sammyb hey, any chance we could get a poll up on the site to see how many of the readers have had issues with their ps5? {none, mild, severe, brick, I wish I had one} or something like that?
