Topic: ?: If you install additional SSD in expansion slot...

...does that supplant the internal SSD or do they work in conjunction? Will the PS5 recognize it as a separate drive? OR will it just combine the sizes together and be recognized as a total “internal storage”? When I load a game from the XMB, will it automatically know which SSD it’s located on? Just unclear on how that expansion slot/drive functions.

The FAQs said it would be an addition to the pool of storage, so yeah, it'll be "blind" to the user. You won't have to manage anything.
