@lolwhatno If I get it, I will make sure to let everyone here know. If I do need to summon help, trust me I'm doing it, After I read that interview, I have a whole new mindset of what this game is.
Nintendo are like woman, You love them for whats on the inside, not the outside…you know what I mean! Luzlane best girl!

@lolwhatno I'm sure you are going to love it when you get it. The UX could do with some improvements though 😉
I've not put a great deal of time in yet but have done a few 2 hour sessions. Loving the fact that there's lots of things out there that look doable but turn out to be my demise. I've just been wandering around and levelling up my character so far in the hope that I'll be man enough to take on the Tree Sentinel soon. He seems fun!
It really is everything I’d hoped for… and I had high hopes. Just got through Stormveil Castle and what an incredible piece of level design that was.
Difficulty-wise… I’d say on the whole I’m finding it around the ‘same’ level of difficulty that I experience in all From games… though I did find Margit difficult, his second phase was just really tricky for me to read. But by contrast I then found Godrick the Grafted fine and beat him first time. If I know souls (or ‘runes’) though, I’d imagine just as many people found the former easy and the latter more difficult.
I know it’s way to early to say… but I can’t help it… I kinda hoped (with a degree of educated understanding of what I like… and what From produce) that this would end up being my favourite game of all time (it’s currently Bloodborne).., and I’m getting more and more confident by the hour that it will be.
@render so the only time I really farmed runes was before the Godrick fight as I fount the previous boss (Margit) so tricky. So I think I found Godrick when I was around lvl 26/27… and I thought, let’s try and get myself to around 30 for this one. Looking back, I probably should’ve just gone for it.
@Mega-Gazz there's a guy (well, giant) in Liurnia that you can buy Somber Smithing stones from. I think he has a limited supply of the level 4 and 5, but the lower tiers you can buy as many as you want.
I can only assume that there's a vendor somewhere that would do the same with regular smithing stones too, but not come across that yet
correction: just looked it up and according to the internet, it's level 3 and 4 he has limited supply of, so it must be 1 and 2 you can buy as many as you want
The crowd, accepting this immediately, assumed the anti-Eurasian posters and banners everywhere were the result of acts of sabotage by agents of Goldstein and ripped them from the walls.
I made my way through Stormveil Castle this afternoon. That place is classic Souls, and I still don't think I've explored all of it. I missed one section in the middle because I was being chased by about twenty enemies.
Good job, Parappa. You can go on to the next stage now.
Epic… frikkin EPIC! day of gaming. Just hung up the controller for the night and real happy that I managed to defeat The Red Wolf of Radagon just before I did so (as he had been absolutely kicking my *** for the previous 45 mins or so). Maybe I was a wee bit underlevelled for him or something… but was a proper challenge.
17 hours in… and won’t be able to play much now until the weekend maybe… but I know I’ll be tweaking tomorrow and Friday for sure 😅.
@colonelkilgore I am amazing you held off from it for this long, especially considering your iron-strong allegiance with all things FS-related! What build/weapon you go with?
It really is a great game, even for an 'everyman' Souls fan like myself ha.
Just hitting up the Academy, and enjoying the change-up of enemy variety... some of those magic attacks I'm receiving are punishing me.
@Gremio108 I absolutely did that too 😂 those moments of absurdity as you get chased Benny Hill style in the midst of all the stress and seriousness are golden
