@Jimmer-jammer absolutely!! it's at a place called the waypoint ruins, North of the bloodhound knight in south limgrave. There's house with loads of crazy poisonous plants and a dungeon underneath. One you beat the dungeon boss, she's in a room in the back. happy hunting and cheers for the tip! I just realised I went to the place you describe by mistake and got my ***** rocked and left sharpish! Looks like I've got to back 😂
@Jimmer-jammer Not sure how accurate this, but this feels about right in regards to staggering enemies...
After successfully guarding against an enemy's attack, you can quickly press the heavy attack button to deliver a massive blow to their health and invisible stagger bar.
@Gremio108 That is well weird as all my spirit summons have been working as intended for me. Oh well, glad they are working for you now! I have a handful of them now all on my quick item bar.
Also well done on beating Margit! I similarly beat him earlier after a handful of attempts. I did have the NPC summon with me but did not use any spirit summons as wanted to save my FP for my Unsheath skill.
I ventured further into the castle and it wasn't too bad, apart from a couple of big boys. Will probs go back to Limgrave and do the Kenneth side quest and a few more bits and bobs.
Life is more fun when you help people succeed, instead of wishing them to fail.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.
Which spirit summons are worth levelling? I opened the ability to buff them but not sure which is worth investing in. The dogs cost too much FP and get pwned by AOE, the s Nobel sorcerer hits for nothing….
@nessisonett It is! I also like the undead ones as the come back to life if not killed properly!
@Jimmer-jammer Indeed! It's all about breaking enemies stance. It is actually detailed in the game menu, under 'inventory' then press L1 to go to 'info' and about the 4th one down, depending on how many notes/paintings you have got.

Good lord, that Fringefolk Hero's Grave dungeon is annoying. Also the only time I've seen goblins in this game so far, which I obviously exterminated with extreme prejudice.
@JohnnyShoulder Yeah, it's the same approximate button on an Xbox controller.
A lot of items have helpful descriptions, but, from memory, I recall this one not being particularly help.

@velio84 Level 18, I think. I'd already practiced horseback combat with one of the Night Sentinels, so the Tree Sentinel wasn't too awful. I jumped off my horse and spammed Unsheathe to finish him off.
@Kairu It set the tone right away when you drop down, and BAM poison floor.
The dungeon is actually on the right track, since I'd love to see more unique gimmicks/light puzzle solving elements in these areas. But something other than insta-kill rolling contraptions that follow you around, please.

@velio84 What I love about this game is the varying curves in difficulty... in the same hour of play, I managed to beat Godrick during my first attempt - but I just could not get a grip on besting the tree sentinal at all!
I feel much more comfortable fighting on the ground (off-horse) which is not a playstyle which works for the sentinal I guess! In the end I summoned another player in to support we, and we took him down together... it was still close though! I was around level 25ish I think.
