I've not had that much joy with Mimic Tear myself, but do like to mix it up with the spirit ashes. I think jelly fish bro is my most used though.

This week I dressed up as a mushroom and went through the Lake of Rot collecting everything. I'm now at the Grand Cloister battling with the prawn enemies.

@Jimmer-jammer Maybe I've not had much joy with the mimic tear as my build is so **** then! 😂

@R1spam I used Lhutel for a while too as it was one that stuck around long enough to be useful.

@JohnnyShoulder It sounds like you’re not far behind where I’ve been! Good luck in finishing off that run of locations as you’re almost there.

You should have loads of items to upgrade your spirit summons to now so it might be worth using them. Using Mimic Tear with both of us having bleed weapons just means you keep taking chunks out of bosses health each time you cause blood loss which really helps.

As for me, I just had a quick visit to Leyndell and blimey, there’s some heavy hitting enemies just wandering around there!

@Thrillho Yeah I've been upgrading my spirit Ashes as I've been going along. Think I got mimic tear to +9 and a few others not far behind.

I'm on the boss in the area which is probably the most freaky looking one so far I've seen. Almost defeated it last night but got too greedy. I've changed out of my mushroom gear to something than can take a few more hits.

I had a quick zoom through Leyndell to get the map fragment and the golden tears. There is also a 'hidden' cave with a bearing from the boss I believe.

@JohnnyShoulder I pretty much managed to level up Mimic Tear straight to +10 after running through most of the area you’ve covered.

That boss isn’t too bad once you know to avoid the big AoE attacks and the deadly pincer grab. There’s one more boss to complete that quest line but it’s pretty straight forward. And then make sure to go back to Ranni’s tower after!

I already had the map for Leyndell before going in. And there are so many hidden caves it’s hard to know which you mean 😁

@Thrillho I've beaten them both in a uncharacteristically productive morning. I think that was about 250k worth of runes as I remembered to use those gold foot things.

The mimic tear did come useful with the latter fight as I put some blood grease on my katana before I summoned it, so we cut through that beast like a hot knife through butter.

The cave is quite tricky to find the general location, but you know when are close by when you find the Minor Erdtree Church, which is technically in Altus Plateau.

Jeez those T-Rex dogs in Dragonbarrow sure do hit hard! Can only imagine what the dragons are like. May have to come back to that a bit later or, or start from the Bestial Sanctum as I can one hit kill those little guys when back stabbing them. I love the animation for that.

@JohnnyShoulder Yeah, those dog things and the raven things in that region are brutal so I just tended to leave them well alone.

The dragon enemies/bosses weren’t too bad at all though. There is one large boss that is surrounded by smaller dragons but if you defeat the small ones (not difficult), each one you kill whittles down the boss’ health so it’s a good point to use a golden foot thing!

And does that mean you defeated the enemy outside the Bestium Sanctuary? I left that one well alone.

As for me, I was working through Leyndell and stumbled on Godfrey and thankfully beat him first time. I made it to the bedchamber grace but have been back exploring the sewers with the key from Dung Eater.

The omen creatures down there don’t mess around! I did find Dung Eater down there and decided to just kill him as he seems one of the most detestable From characters ever.

@Thrillho I just got the dragon on the bridge leading to Bestium Sanctuary and the boss guarding it to beat. I did have a few goes at the latter a while back but got smashed. Hopefully will have better time now.
Also need to go to the divine tower, which is a bit tricky. Had to watch a walkthrough as I fell to my doom a couple of times.

Yeah the the younger dragons were not too bad in the end, I got rid of those and the massive grey dragon. Really need to start to remember and use the gold foot things more to boost the runes I get.

@Jimmer-jammer Congrats on getting to the end - 3 times as it turns out 😉. That's what I did as well and each ending proved quite interesting. Good luck on finishing off the other trophies.

Thrillho

@Jimmer-jammer I saw your post in the other thread and was going to ask which ending you got

Which trophies do you have left to mop up then?

So it's just me and you left standing then @JohnnyShoulder !

I got to the Tower no problem (not realising that's what I was even doing) when I went through Caelid/Dragonborrow but was getting smashed by the enemies so left it alone. I went back recently and got through no problem so it shouldn't be much of an issue for you.

@Thrillho Oh I suspect I'll still be here long after you have finished to meet and greet any new players who stumble in here. Kinda like an npc in a game.

@R1spam Always good to have another tarnished in the Lands Between!

@Thrillho I just beat that Gargoyle outside the Bestium Sanctuary. I have put a load into vigor since I last faced it, and maybe facing two of them gave me a lot of practice. I stayed really close to it and most of the swings either missed me completely or I rolled past them. As the AoE attacks are highly telegraphed, I just kept my distance to avoid them.

@JohnnyShoulder Nice. I've had a productive couple of hours this evening, managing to beat Mohg, Morgott, and then that gargoyle as well (ironically, the one that took me the most attempts!).

@R1spam Welcome to our little club Good luck with that region as I was around lvl100 and those Omen enemies still caused me all sorts of grief in that area.

R1spam

@Thrillho I'm level 108 and those guys still hit real hard! Not as hard as that grafted monster in the jail cell further down in the dungeon! I have managed to find my way to the dungeater, through the catacombs and have unlocked the first shortcut back to the grace. @JohnnyShoulder I got teleported there what seems a lifetime ago now! Stole the talisman, ran like hell and never looked back. I should head back there sometime 😂. The game is so vast it can be hard to keep track of app the threads

@R1spam Same here and I only just got back there! Some of the red eye enemies hit hard but I've also levelled up a fair few times too! Think I will go back to Altus Plateau as I've only done some of it.

@R1spam The sewers are a real maze and the catacombs down there equally as confusing!
