Topic: Days Gone Horde Assault Quirk

I've found something quite by accident. I don't recall the name of the map, but on each map, I've found a spot while running from a horde where, when the freakers hit that point, it's like they just stop. They then turn around and go the opposite direction. If you take Deacon, or whoever you're playing as, past that point, the horde will stop and turn back towards you. If you back up past the stopping point, the horde against will turn around and go the opposite direction.

Using this technique, I've gotten more than 5 million points. I only stopped because I knew I had enough to beat the score.

Does it work in story mode or not?

I don't know about story mode. I've been playing only Horde Assault since Remastered came out. And yeah...I hope it doesn't get patched. It is the only way that I was able to pass a couple of the levels...

I've noticed that some of the turn around places I've come across are no longer there. Another weird thing I've noticed is that when a freaker explodes, sometimes there is a little explosion off to the side of them. I don't see anything that would explode as it SHOULD be just the freaker that blows up.

ANOTHER thing I've noticed. Sometimes, the turn around places are there, but the next time I play that level, the place ISN'T there. There's a spot on the third Horde Assault map with a derailed train. At one point of that, the horde will hit a certain spot and just turn around. But if you're not careful, a second horde will pop up behind you.

Anyone notice this ?
