@Kairu Brilliant game. Really liked the setting which I've not had that much experience of. Mahoosive difficulty spike going into NG+ I thought though.
Life is more fun when you help people succeed, instead of wishing them to fail.

Just picked up The Last Door - Complete Edition to add to my October spoopy Halloween playlist. Not usually one for point and click style games but the story sounds like something I might be into and currently cheap enough in one of the PS store sales.

Saw Horizon Forbidden West for $35 so I went ahead and picked it up. It was not a matter of ‘if’ but ‘when’ I would buy it, and there’s been remarkably few PS4 copies in the wild so I snatched this copy when I saw it.

@RogerRoger It was an impulse buy, like many of my purchases are. I have no idea when I’ll get to it, but I am getting closer to the point of concern that I won’t be able to
avoid spoilers much longer.
And despite it being my bread-and-butter, I don’t actually have all that many third person open world action RPGs in my backlog. I have a couple Assassins Creed games, Days Gone, and NieR Relicant, and maybe a couple smaller titles, but not as many as I thought. When I recently got the itch to play one of these, I booted up Immortals and it satiated me for a while. I just need to go back to that first and then see where the wind carries me but I like having Forbidden West in my back pocket now.

Just bought a copy of Bloodstained Ritual of the Night after I noticed the price pre-owned copies are going for. Finally get to see what the hype was about... Well finally when I get around to it of course.

So after a bit of chatter on the Trails into Reverie article on the front page, I’ve gone ahead and ordered Trails of Cold Steel 1 & 2. I’m pretty sure that they’re turn-based JRPG’s… and I’ve been very vocal about my inability to click with turn-based combat mechanics but I just feel drawn to the series. I think it’s the unashamed positivity I see from everyone who plays this series… and I think that I have to at least give them a try I guess.
@LN78 I dunno mate tbh… I’m not entirely sure which arc Reverie is a part of but the wiki suggests that it takes place 5 months after Cold Steel 4, so it definitely won’t hurt to go from ToCS4 to TitR.
I've had an eye on Rage 2 for a while as I quite enjoyed the first. Almost went it for a few times around £8 but saw it £6 today and finally went for it. I'll probably save it for after GoW Ragnarok.
I haven't bought many games lately and considering there's a Halloween sale going on now, I figured now would be a good time to buy some horror titles that are on my wishlist. So I bought Yuoni, Manhunt, Yomawari: Midnight Shadows and Amnesia: Rebirth for a total of €40. Yuoni looks like an interesting Japanese first-person horror game. I haven't played the Manhunt games before so I'm looking forward to playing it for the first time. I have the first Yomawari and it looks like a pretty unique horror experience, so I'm excited to play them down the line. Finally, Amnesia is a series that I've been wanting to play for a long time and now that I have Rebirth, I might give the first game a go sooner rather than later.
It's really nice to have so many horror games to choose from on PS4. There's certainly no lack of them on the system!
Pre-ordered River City Girls 2 from Limited Run Games. I don't play my PS4 much these days, but since I have the first one and I preorder River City Girls 0 from LRG, I figured I may as well get 2 on PS4 as well.

Bought some more horror games in the sale. This time I got Tormented Souls and Zombie Army Trilogy for roughly €15 in total. I haven't played a Sniper Elite game before and for €5 I thought I'd give this series a go.
While buying games on PS4, I realised that Sony has added PS1 titles on PS4. I know that they were available through PS+ Premium, but I didn't know you could get them standalone. And to my surprise, they are actually Cross-buy if you already own them digitally on PS3/Vita. So I downloaded Resident Evil: Director's Cut, Jumping Flash, Wild Arms and Syphon Filter. Played a bit of RE1 and the game actually looks much better now! On top of that, you can rewind and save at any time, which is absolutely brilliant since that was a feature that I've desperately wanted to see on PS1 Classics on PS3/Vita. Considering that a lot of PS1 games are difficult, I feel more inclined to play them now on PS4 thanks to the rewind and save state features.
Anyway, so I saw that Syphon Filter 2 is also available on PS4. The problem is that the game (as well as the other PS1 titles on PS4) costs €10. PS1 titles on PS3/Vita used to cost a minimum of €5, which I remember the Syphon Filter games cost. So I thought, is it possible to buy Syphon Filter 2 on PS3 for €5 (you can't buy it on Vita) by adding funds on the webstore and then download it on PS4 so you can save yourself €5? And that absolutely works! So if you still have a PS3/Vita but you want to play PS1 games on PS4 in order to utilise the new features, I recommend buying them on PS3/Vita so you can save yourself some money.
Just picked up ONE PIECE World Seeker Deluxe Edition on the store. I know absolutely nothing about the ip nor the game but £3.99 reduced from £77.99 was just a no brainier.
Just preordered God of War Ragnarok. Wasn't planning on getting it at launch but I mean, it's God of War. I need to play it. Hopefully my PS4 doesn't die from playing this game.
I also feel like November/December 2022 is going to be another February/March 2017 for me in terms of game releases. So many great games are coming out. I doubt I'll have the time to play through all of them but I at least want to experience them on day one.
@colonelkilgore
I know nothing about it either... So I just did a quick search, noted a couple of review scores and read the first paragraph of the review on this site... Seems at that price you may have been ripped off!

Just bought SIFU: Vengeance Edition for €30. I've had my eyes on this one for a while and for €30, I felt like now was the time to get it. Seems like an interesting game and I'm always on the lookout for unique experiences. Hopefully it'll be fun!
