@colonelkilgore All of those would be worthy, what with all the sentiment attached, I don’t feel you’d feel robbed.

Worthy… you had to use that word eh! Now it has to be GoW: Ragnarok (well that or Thor on PS3) due to its connection to mjolnir and it’s requirement for one being ‘worthy’. 🔨

@render Hard to say given that we got a couple of hours in every night for about a week. Well seeing my mum’s on holiday from work 😂

102 hours later and that’s a landmark platinum #50 (and trophy level 400) for Yakuza: Like a Dragon

@Thrillho congrats on both #50 and lvl 400. 102 hours actually sounds decent for a Yakuza game.

Nice one @Thrillho
Plat on a Yakuza game is proper dedication so props for that.
Also first push square plat of the weekend which I'm always happy to see.

@Thrillho congrats! That's a decent game to sink some time in and see to the end. 💪

Thrillho

Thanks all.

@colonelkilgore I didn't know about the milestones until I went to post what number plat it was. It's not as tricky as a normal Yakuza game as it's not tied to the completion list but at least a tenth of the play time was grinding to complete the final "dungeon".

@JudgeDredd I did enjoy it but have the same feelings that 90% of combat was really easy and I often just did in auto mode (with abilities turned off). And then there's the silly difficulty spike for that fight about 80% of the way through the game which made me go grind for a bit and then it was also quite easy. I guess it was just the True Final Millennium Tower you missed out on?

@JudgeDredd In the Kamurocho tunnel dungeon, there is an enemy called the Invested Vagabond who gives massive XP. He appears in three set places in the second level and in that dungeon you can go back up a level and reset all the enemies.

I would just flee the first two fights in the area, kill the vagabond and the rest of the enemies with him (easily done in less than one round of attacks) and then reset the area. I was doing it semi-consciously while watching Netflix on my laptop and after a couple of evenings had everyone level 99 and top level in two different jobs (the one I'd use and one other that gave them stat perks that would be most useful).

The tower isn't too bad so long as you have a good healer, the Orbital Strike ability from finishing the business mini game/side story, and LOTS of MP items. The very final fight is a bit trickier, mainly as he has an ability that can wipe the whole party out if you're not prepared. Luckily, they allow you to restart that fight and not do the whole tower again!

#101 Old Man's Journey
I've been toiling away at longer plats lately so I thought I'd sneak in a much smaller experience. And yeah, it only takes 1-2 hours to finish, so it has that going for it.

@Thrillho gz on #100 and such a nice game for that accomplishment. It's on my one day I'll replay it and get the platinum list especially since we get it with ps plus now (only own it on Xbox atm).

@WCB gz on another one. The game seems interesting, never played it yet. How was the game?

@WCB congrats buddy, this is another game I’ve picked up along the way in one of the various sales… good to know it can be popped that quickly, y’kno in case I need an emergency plat 😉

@Lavalera @colonelkilgore thanks guys. Uh, it's okay I guess for what it is. Not much to it, you move the scenery up and down to help an old guy get to where he's headed as he contemplates his life choices. Some folks out there who will enjoy it more than I did.

#102 The Complex
Another of these interactive movies from Wales Interactive. Some are hit or miss, I didn't care for The Bunker much but really liked Late Shift. This one was just okay. Once the first playthrough is done you can just skip the scenes you've already seen which makes cleaning the trophies up a breeze.

Just got the plat for 12 Minutes! It was a fun game. I know the twist is controversial but I understand why they had to do it given the budget and scale of the game. One trophy, Mindfulness, was rather tricky. I had to play the game a second time to get it.

@ScarletSpidey congrats. That's one I should get back to on Xbox before it leaves gp.

@WCB another one! Well done bud. As a Welsh-mun I guess that I should probably try one of these Wales Interactive titles at some point. Really don’t seem like my thing but the fact that there is a dev team not only from Wales but also that it wears its (my) nationality so blatantly makes me want to give them a try at least.

Congrats @ScarletSpidey, I’ve still managed to avoid being spoiled on ‘the twist’ but am intrigued by the effect it has had on people.

Well done on your latest cheevos.

#130 Ghost of Tsushima (PS5)
Feels like I've been playing this forever, actually wrapped it all up in just under 51 hours according to the save game timer. Not much I can say about this that hasn't been said before, looks pretty, plays well, a little too long for my liking.

WCB

@sorteddan yeah, you made excellent time on that, I think I was almost 30 hours just on the first Act. But big congratulations on that one, absolutely fantastic game imo.
