I've managed to snag my self a new plat and number 10 at that! Woohoo double figures 🙌 lol Concrete Genie, not a very difficult game to plat but it was a very well made game, it was a brilliant change of pace to Demon Soul's when I needed a break! Overall I would recommend this game its a fantastic chill indie game.

Oh yeah well done on the latest and the double figure milestone. It is an enjoyable experience overall and certainly one to play when you need a change of pace.

#131 Stray (PS5)
Actually enjoyed the 2 hour speedrun trophy I had to do at the end, made numerous mistakes and still managed it in 1:46:34. Also any BTTF fans will be able to guess how much power Doc's weapon requires, reference made me chuckle.
First playthrough, miscellaneous clean up and speedrun all done in under 10 hours. Nuff said.
Oh and you get to be a cat.

@sorteddan well done bud. A pretty-much universally loved game it seems… even Elden Ring and I’d imagine GoW: Ragnarok didn’t/won’t achieve that distinction. It’d be pretty epic if both lost out on GotY honours to Stray!

Oh I didn't love it! But I think I went I to it determined not to like it so I'm clearly biased. It kind of won me over but I'm not gonna be full of gushing praise of anything. It's fine. I think it was Liam who did a piece on here saying that if the character was anything other than feline it would probably score 1-2 points lower on most reviews and I agree with that sentiment.
If it looks like something you'd be into then you should play it. It's not groundbreaking or likely to be a GotY contender imho.

@sorteddan gz on another one. I decided because of the sentiment Liam and you describe, I feel the same way, I didn't go for the platinum. One playthrough was enough for me didn't want to go through the stress of a speed run without really loving the game so I decided to skip the platinum. My new nr 10will probably be God of war, but since I'm back to casual trophy gathering again that will take a few weeks.

And I know is weird but the stress of the speedrun is what I found the most fun part! First playthrough was mainly without challenge. The need to go fast led to mistakes I wouldn't have made otherwise and kept the tension and engagement at a higher level.

@sorteddan I guess your handling of stress is a lot better than mine then haha. I don't really do well under stress so tend to avoid it as much as possible. That's why I usually skip trophies for challenging or speed run content, for me that seems to work best. I'll miss out on some platinums that way but for my own blood pressure that's actually a good thing then haha
@ThereThere Congrats on the new shiny. Such a great game. The game has its flaws, the gameplay can be a lot better than it was, but the story was good and the humor was brilliant at times. Good to see a good Marvel universe game again after Avengers, which was a big letdown.

#132 Virginia (PS4) It was definitely... something. Yeah don't really know what that was all about despite having played through (watched through) twice today. Suppose it's the weirdest one in a while and that's something.
#133 Foreclosed (PS5) looks cool as heck and pretty fun to play too (apart from one stealth section I kept failing and retrying) Comicbook, cyberpunk shooty nonsense... Just a pity it was so short.

#334 Stray - What a wonderful little game, I absolutely loved it. The mysterious setting, the characters, the city, the cat, everything was kind of made for me. The plat is mostly easy, but I found the chase trophy surprisingly hard. I spent way more time on it that I expected.
