What are everyone's thoughts on The Order: 1886? A new trailer was released today. It didn't show a bunch of the game, but it showed a bit more insight on what the game will be about. I'm interested in people's thoughts on this game. It looks amazing, but it's been announced it won't have multi-player and will run at 30fps. Are these deal breakers for anyone?
I have lowered my hype but I am still interested in what i'm seeing.
"They played us like a damn fiddle!" - MGS5
"Finish your mission, prove your loyalty." - MGS3
"We could take a s*** on you from such a height, you'd think God himself has crapped on you!" - GTA: SA
Currently Playing: The Phantom Pain.
The setting is what excites me. Even though I would have preferred a more historically grounded game (no guns, etc), I've wanted a Victorian game like this for SUCH a long time. Certainly not concerned by the lack of multiplayer or frame rate - it's probably the best looking game announced for PS4 thus far.
I don't ever play multiplayer, so that doesn't ever bother me. I'd much rather see a developer spend twice as much time on the single-player campaign/story mode. I'm not sure what to think about it only being 30fps, but I'm sure the devs know what's best for their game. The game is certainly one of the best looking video games ever.
My favorite thing I've read so far is probably the fact there won't be loading times between cutscenes and the gameplay. That will make it a great playing experience!
Not pleased at all about 30 frames per second but it's not a deal breaker. I'll probably be less tolerant as time goes on though. PS4 can clearly handle 1080p, 60fps, so after some time passes and developers get more experience with the console, I'm going to raise my expectation level.
As for no multiplayer, not a deal breaker for me but a surprising decision and one I think could cost the game some sales just because it seems like everybody expects shooters to have some form of online multi these days. As somebody who always goes to the single-player campaigns first though, I'm still looking forward to the game. The setting is cool, just hope the development team can nail the gameplay and story.
I am excited for this one, I like the setting like Sammy said but I also like the steampunk feeling too, I have yet to see these trailers but this game is pretty high on the list for me.
As for the fps and multiplayer issues, they dont bother me a bit. I am tired of having games where there single player campaigns could have been better but weren't due to the addition of a multiplayer mode (I am looking at you Tomb Raider).

Not too fussed about the 30fps...sure, 60 would've been nicer, but hey...
Regardless, this is in my top three most wanted games for the PS4...I love the setting, I love steam punk and I love 3rd person shooters, so that's a no-brainer.
The lack of (competitive) multiplayer is, for me, not a problem. I mostly ignore competitive mp in most games and prefer a good single player campaign over mp any time of the day. Would've loved if the game had a co-op campaign, though. Playing the campaign of the Gears of Wars games in co-op with a friend (or several) was most awesome and one of the best gaming experiences I ever had. But then, Gears had a campaign tailored for two and we don't know about The Orders campaign yet.
Still, could hardly be any more hyped for this game...and there's hope for a decent co-op thingy in the (hopefully coming) sequel.
Unfortunately I won't be buying this game either as it has no multiplayer, I rarely play offline on any game's anymore its ALL about online for me these days and had been for a few years. I would of bought this game if it had a decent multiplayer.
