@TheBrandedSwordsman This game does look fabulous, and I’m more excited about it than I was before.
I’ll not be playing along on day 1 though. I really want to at least play RE7 before this and I kind of planned to play at least RE3 and RE4 before that. So I have a hefty RE backlog to get through first. So I’ll probably jump into RE8 in a future timeframe. I’m really curious to hear people’s impressions though. It’s possible that I’ll get FOMO and fast track the game. 😄

I don't think there have been any patches for this game has there? I don't recall downloading any, playing from disc. That's how to release a game. Loving it so far.
@TheBrandedSwordsman I was ready to restart and play on easy at that point, I thought 'oh come on this is impossible how am I supposed to kill all these....'
Just finished this, I've been playing on PC and it's nice to see a big AAA game just work and not try to sell you something in game either. As for the game itself its excellent and finishes off Resident Evil 7's story very well whilst having some loose links to the earlier games. It took me about 8.5 hours to finish and it was about the perfect length and I suspect I'll be replaying this quite a few times
Older than I care to remember but have been gaming since owning a wooden Atari 2600 and played pretty much everything inbetween.
