Hi first post so be gentle

I am replacing my ps4 hard drive and I was wondering about the playroom section. Once the new hard drive has been installed will I still have the playroom available because this was preinstall on the ps4 out of the box ?

May be a stupid question but this is my first post.

I think it will install with new initialization. What you do is, google for the initialization file to download it from the playstation website to a thumb drive that's formatted in normal FAT filesystem. Then you replace the hard disk by pulling back the glossy part of the PS4's cover, unscrew the carriage for the hard disk, remove 4 screws that hold the original hard disk in place, put in your new one, re-screw everything, put back the glossy lid (gentle and make sure its aligned right before you snap it back into place) and then you boot up the PS4 by holding the start button for 8 seconds until it beeps and puts you into a system menue. There you select not UPDATE firmware but INITIALIZE. Put in the thumb drive into an USB slot. Follow onscreen instructions, wait, everything should be fine. I did it and I still have my playroom.

Top 5 Indies I'd recommend you try: #1 Lovecraft's Untold Stories, #2 Moonlighter, #3 Hotline Miami, #4 Inside, #5 Into the Breach.
