@Voltan I appreciate that they’ve tried to include a big-budget title, even if I have no interest in FIFA. The other two games seem a little similar to one another though. I think “rogue-like” or “rogue-lite” is included in both game descriptions. Midgard is co-op, so at least there’s that.
Personally I don’t think I’ll be diving into any of these because I have Hades in the backlog which will take priority when I feel the rogue-like urge.
So, FYI:
In addition to PS Now subscribers being converted to PS Plus Premium, apparently anyone who is subbed to both PS Plus and PS Now when the new service launches, will be upgraded to the Premium tier for the duration of the longer of the existing subscriptions
So if you have 2 years of plus and 2 weeks of Now left on June 22, you're getting 2 years of Premium.
Unfortuantely this does nothing for those of us in the regions that only get access to streaming when the new service launches.
I don't suppose anyone knows how to redeem PS Plus subs now that Sony seems to be cracking down on it? I've got two legit codes but it just keeps saying "Can't be redeemed. Try again later"
@RogerRoger Fingers crossed! I've got Now and Plus until November, so that should give me a good enough idea if I even want Premium anymore. I should have my Polymega by then so I might not even want it.
As a PS Plus only subscriber with a year left on my sub, I’m unsure whether to upgrade. After thinking about it, I think what I’ll do is plan to hold off on upgrading unless there is something that knocks my socks off in the game library, and then only pay the upgrade fee when I am ready to play a game in the catalogue that I don’t own. Since it doesn’t sound like a person can just upgrade to try the higher tier for only one month, I don’t want to pay the difference a whole year and not really use the new perks. We’ll see.
I do wonder if we’ll be getting steep PS Plus discounts during the big summer PSN sale (I forget the name of it) or during Black Friday. That or the CD Keys discounted codes. I sure hope so, because I can’t remember the last time I actually paid full price for a year’s subscription.

@Th3solution That is probably what I'm gonna do. Might be pushing it for them to be included in the summer sale, seeing as it would have not long been introduced. But you never know, but I reckon black Friday will be more likely.

Hmm think my plus subscription is due to expire August-ish. If I can get a cheap enough push to the extra tier it might be possible to cram in Ghost of Tsushima and Death Stranding (both I've intended to pick up at some point!) before it runs out. Will probably give it a go if I have the opportunity.

@Voltan I've played through those R&C games on Now. Shame they aren't emulated on the PS5 but they played well enough via streaming and I only really felt the lag once I'd played R&C PS4 and tried to go back.
Looks like a good selection of games so far though. I'm unlikely to play many but it's good to see that they are there if I want them.
Unfortunately I seem to own most of the big hitters already but I can’t really complain about that! It’s a decent list but they really need to add to the retro offerings. From the looks of things, the PS2 support was a little white lie, it’s only the exact same PS4 remasters that were included with PS Now so far. Also, they’re removing some of the better PS3 games from Now.
Yeah, I can't see me sticking with the new service after my existing sub runs out. I never play online and already own 90% of the retro games I want to play. Trophies would have probably swung it, alongside not having to plug and unplug another console, but money is getting tight these days so it's an easy saving.
I'm assuming the games announced is just a partial list to whet the appetite, and in that regard it's fine since I really wanted Jumping Flash and Kurushi and we got them. But I still need to see the full list before I see if I'm signing up to this thing, and honestly, now I know that you can just buy the games a la carte the subscription is a much tougher sell to me.
I never got Gamepass. When I was a kid and had no money I'd be all over it, but I'm at the point now where I have so many games that I could not buy games for like another three years and I'd still be fine gaming. The number of games ain't the problem, and throwing more mid-tier games into the mix doesn't appeal to me. I don't want or need access to hundreds of games.
My only interest in this PS Plus thing is the classic stuff, especially if they get trophies in there. And so far it's kinda enouraging.
Yeah I was impressed what what games were listed, especially as that was only a taster. There are enough games that I'm interested in and not played for me to consider subbing. I have no interest in retro games, so it will be the Extra tier for me.

One thing that stands out to me is the lack of Square Enix games outside of FF15 (which was already on the PS Plus Collection) and Guardians.
I'm not saying this means anything - just expected more, I guess. But also the 3rd party list they shared is pretty short, so I expect many more to be added (both by launch and afterwards).
