Should I play it or don't? What's your review and score?

I think it greatly depends on how much of a fan of the original trilogy you are. If you love those games and the lore they have created then I think you would probably enjoy Andromeda. For me the story and characters were weaker than those from the original but the minute to minute gameplay was very strong.
I'm someone who enjoyed it enough to play it through twice and get the Platinum so I am bound to rate it higher than many. I don't really like assigning an arbitrary number to the quality of a game as it's so subjective but to make it simple I would put it around a 7.5/10.

A lot of people hated this game. not sure the hate was justified. The characters are not as deep as in the trilogy but combat is good and the world is well crafted.Story missions are decent and you have a lot of freedom in how you assign skills. Multi-player is fun as well but not sure how many are playing it these days.

I would give it a solid 8, ist often on sale at less than £10 and thats a steal. Or I think its on EA access as well.

@veltix It's a solid 7 per se, but it was an 8 for me sinve I needed some sci-fi. I played it only last year so I avoided all the glitches and bugs. Being very cheap it surely deserves a try.

I paid £6 for it and even though the writing is mostly a bit rubbish, the combat is much better in this than the previous trilogy. I quite enjoyed the game and even kind of liked Sara Ryder by the end. Got the platinum after two playthroughs.
It's definitely worth getting for under a tenner.

For what you can pick it up for today, its an easy recommended purchase. Its an interesting story with ties to the original trilogy and the lore is very much in keeping with that too. The main lead is perhaps a bit weaker BUT you have to remember that they were NOT a military leader and their 'mission' is quite different. I won't spoil anything at all about the story and characters.

The game-play is 'great' overall and the combat is in my opinion better than previous games. Its more open in general and you have more mobility too. Also, has some great environments to visit too.

I enjoyed playing through it (twice - once each on both PS4 and XB1) and whilst there are some occasional bugs and some 'meme' facial animations at times, overall, its still a solid game. I think a lot were unfair as its not ME:1-3 with a 'new' military leader and a few 'poor' facial animations and whilst its not a 9/10, its still a 'decent' sci-fi RPG...

A pessimist is just an optimist with experience!

Why can't life be like gaming? Why can't I restart from an earlier checkpoint??

Feel free to add me but please send a message so I know where you know me from...

The glitch is the eye. No eye contact isn't it?
