I just got back into gaming 2 years ago. Not going to buy a PS5 for a few years at least, so stuck a 2tb SSD in.
What a difference it’s made. Not just to load times, but to actual gameplay. The main games I play are DayZ, Last of us, GTA V and Division 2.
All games load quicker and run smoother in my opinion.
The biggest improvement being DayZ. I enjoyed the game before, but now it runs much better. Still some small glitches, but on the whole much better.
It’s given my PS4 a new lease of life.
What’s everyone else’s experience with changing the stock HDD?
For about 6 months I have kept loosing connection when playing last of us factions. Since I have fitted the SSD it has never lost connection once. Is that just a coincidence or would the SSD some how help that?
