I like the openness of the areas. On your way to another mission you can snipe some people, collect plants, liberate outpostsor collect more animals for your zoo.IIf you do not want to run and rush about the terrain just get picked up by your helicopter and start another missions that way you get dropped of at the right places. I rarely use the horse I just run about a lot do not even use vehicles much but sometimes the tank can be fun or the walker when its full armed up is great. The one vehicle which i think would work really well in the game which is no where to be seen is a motorbike. Hiw much fun would it be racing across the areas on a bike and jumping off cliffs. Even if they added it as a transaction that would be fine by me.
When you are doing mission make sure you destroy the radars that way more helicopter points open up.
PF system is when you get FOB not sure if you got that far yet. There are two dmensions to the FOB one where you can infiltrate other people bases and steal staff and resources. But that also means they can retaliate and do the same to you. So you can had staff die and lose items. I am bad at this so I do not even try. If you are new to it you can lose a lot of good men. So players are kind and if you are new to it they use non lethal weapons but thats rare. Anyway back to the questions you asked. PF ratings are virtual battles based on all your staff, weapons and resources on the FOB. You are placed in a group of 16 players (not sure how this is decided) and you fight each person. You get points based on if you win. After a week of battles you get points which you can spend on buying more staff anything from S++ to grunts. You can not lose out by doing the battles so its worth keeping an eye on. FOB is worth developing so you can get extra resources and money
Am here to testify what this great spell caster done for me. i never believe in spell casting, until when i was was tempted to try it. i and my husband have been having a lot of problem living together, he will always not make me happy because he have fallen in love with another lady outside our relationship, i tried my best to make sure that my husband leave this woman but the more i talk to him the more he makes me fell sad, so my marriage is now leading to divorce because he no longer gives me attention. so with all this pain and agony, i decided to contact this spell caster to see if things can work out between me and my husband again. this spell caster who was a woman told me that my husband is really under a great spell that he have been charm by some magic, so she told me that she was going to make all things normal back. she did the spell on my husband and after 5 days my husband changed completely he even apologize with the way he treated me that he was not him self, i really thank this woman her name is Dr Aluta she have bring back my husband back to me i want you all to contact her who are having any problem related to marriage issue and relationship problem she will solve it for you. her email is [email protected] she is a woman and she is great. wish you good time.
He cast spells for different purposes
@get2sammyb: yeah ive done that too on more than one occasion. i started to use the fast travel system; which helps but even that has its problems too. but as @dryrain: said i like openness of the areas too, Africa being my favourite. i just wish they added more interiors to the bases. like on one of the main missions some hangers are open to explore and they have resources in them but outside of that mission ( for some unknown reason) they are locked.
I like MGS5, I really do - but some things about the game drive me utterly bonkers. The open world is the biggest issue I have. I feel like the game would be much better as a selection of self-contained mini-sandboxes, because navigating the world is painful. In fact, it's so bad, I'm sure I'm missing something.
So I'm out in the "field" doing some Spec Ops missions. Cool. I set my waypoint and travel to the next marker. And every time - I swear, every single time - I just run into a wall of mountain which can't be climbed over.
So, in this instance, the only way I have of getting to the waypoint is by getting back on my horse, riding all the way around the mountain, trying to pass through multiple security outposts unnoticed. Surely this isn't right? Surely I'm missing something? Open world games like Prototype (puke) and Assassin's Creed give you overpowered traversal abilities to transform tedious sandbox navigation into something exciting. But in MGS5 it's just plain tedious.
Unless I'm missing something?
(Please tell me I'm missing something.)
Yeah... I would just stick to going back to the ACC and getting the heli closer to your objective... But for your screenshot, yeah horseback or armoured vehicle (enemies can't see you unless you're a crap driver).
There are ways to sneak past outposts (almost all have blindspots) undetected.

I played some missions today not played in a while took me a while to get used to the game again. Quiet is so useful when you equip her with the Zzzz sniper rifle. On the hunt for some good staff members.
How do you beat the Extreme version of Quiets battle? its one shot kill and I've died 20 odd times now. I've hit her twice so far in one run but unsure how many times you have to hit her before she crumples.
On a better note all the prisoner extractions are complete. Finally. Now onto the fabled unlucky dogs.

@themcnoisy: what sniper rifle are you using?, i waited till i had the highest grade sniper rifle (cant remember what its called) and then just go for headshots only. I`ll try to do a video later if you want?
@Ash_uk1: Cool my sniper is a bit rubbish so will upgrade it. I was wondering if its a good idea to smoke grenade and rocket.

@Ash_uk1: I think she killed me from that spot on a go earlier. I crawled to the left sniped her starting position, her second position was different to your video more to the right. Then when I was looking for her got shot in the back

Mission 45 is so annoying, I nearly did it first time. Since then I've tried it about 20 times and I get to the section with the 3 tanks and the helicopter close by and die every time. The tanks are seemingly a one hit kill at this point whereas earlier I could take a hit and still get away.

Just worked out how to use ballistic missiles and liquid missiles in the PF battle ratings. Its worth using them this week as you get S ranked staff bonus. Here is the link that tells you how to use them.. Have you tried the
I never did mission 45, good luck. Have you tried the multi lock missile launcher?
As for Mission 45, strongest rocket launcher and battle dress. Don't bother using that weak one they give you.

Finished the game last night, I thought the final twist was going to be a hurrah moment - yet was left scratching my head. The mirror scene just left me bamboozled as to who the other guy was. I'm obviously entering spoiler territory here, I understand what's going on, but have no recollection who the other man is.
Great game all in all, anyone who cant forgive The Phantom Pain for its many faults is missing out on the most playable 3rd person stealth game ever. The amount of freedom is amazing. Even the often maligned 2nd chapter gave some closure on Emmerich, Eli and Quiet - Quiets particular twist was brilliant and her latter theme music was spine tingling.
As mentioned earlier in this thread, at the end of the game after 30 plus hours of not getting a trophy, I got 3 in quick succession. I know there's a secret trophy for showing Paz some photos but she's always asleep how do you show her the photos? Also I think my animal database has glitches Its showing 44 / 47 animals but says I have only 41 / 47

Just started playing and loving it. I heard the puppy could be found around mission 3. For me it was not the case. I finished mission 3 then wandered around a bit raided a base and then thought Id try mission 3 again and get a better score. I stole a jeep and headed to the mission 3 start point. I crest a hill going fast and right in front of me is the puppy. Now dead puppy. I thought, "oh no, what if hes dead for good." My fears were unfounded of course. I restarted the mission and there he was again . I think he knows what I did to him though. The way he looks at me.
Had a break a month ago after finishing the main story.
Went back a week ago, to try and get S rank on all missions and get the mission tasks in all missions.
Was easier than I thought it would be, thatnks to all the upgrades you got at the end of the game.
