That football game is annoying when your team has fewer players than the other team. My 4 player team put up a good fight earlier, but naturally we lost to a 5 player team.

On the plus side, failing there did save me from having to do a tail grab finale.

Yes, 5 versus 4 on Fall Ball is brutal, I hope they patch that in a future update.

I had a 17 man hexagone final earlier which was mayhem.

I won one! Only lasted 4 rounds but I won Slime Climb as I’m pretty good at the races and then won the game of Jump Showdown at the end because I saw that the two beams were intersecting so jumped towards the beam earlier and watched the two others get squished and fall to their deaths. Brilliant!

I realised I haven't given the PS+ free trial a go. So I can play this game anyway, and for free as well. At least for the time being, but it's pretty neat.

@Quintumply I think you might have made a mistake in your contribution about the season 1 rewards regarding the end date.

I won an episode today. It was the first time I've won Fall Mountain. Others reached the crown before me, but they had to wait for the crown to lower. So it was a hectic end, with a couple of people jumping too early, but somehow I grabbed it first.

@crimsontadpoles Congrats! I find Fall Mountain way too hard, I can never grab the crown properly so always come second. I’ve now won two on Jump Showdown and one on Hexagone but Fall Mountain eludes me.

I've had a few goes now and I suck pretty hard at it at the mo. Not a fan of tail grabbing rounds but will try and get the hang of it. Find it bizarre there is no invert camera option but luckily I don't need to move it too often.

Ok, I need to get loads more crowns, that Bulletkin outfit is just too cool.

I've won... four games now, I believe? I can't do any final other than Jump Showdown. If I get to the final and see anything other than that come up I know I'm toast. Hex-A-Gone especially is just total hell for me. I'd say I'm consistently in the first half out there, no matter how many players. My expertise is standing still and timing jumps, not moving while having to jump! One day. Until that day, I'll just keep praying for my lord and saviour Jump Showdown.

@Tjuz Hex-a-gone is my best final round actually. Reminds me of the purple coins leven in Mario Galaxy, which I adored.

I’m good at hexagone but barely ever win. I stay up on the top for ages but when I eventually fall down I end up skipping several layers and am in danger of going out.

@Tjuz Hexagone is strange. I have a touch of delay so it's a bit harder for anyone in a similar situation. I can jump well and am decent at platform games but that delay (which is variable) can stifle a good run. Perfectly pressed motion and Mr Bean doesn't move!!!

Watching YouTubers with better setups they have a much easier time, so the delay is an issue unless you have limited latency.

I've got 5 wins in tail tag, 1 in Hexagone and 1 on the Circle thing. So nabbed the 7 win trophy yesterday! No way can I pass the 5 wins in a row trophy. Always comimg a cropper due to bodies at the worst time. Just won a game and the second level of the following session - Starting at the far right back on slime climb and it was impossible to get passed the herd of bodies, no matter the strategy. Too many people failing straight away which knocked me back - they were then jumping in the gap which knocked me back. Pushed into the gap and it was too late.. Dead. About 20 people on the first bit.

2 wins in a row yesterday and down to the last 20odd, Hoarders came up. Worst team ever they kept hitting it out of our area! Like wtf people get it together.

I hope they make some easier ways to nab it, winning 5 times in a row is impossible.

I'm up to 10 wins now I think (12 crowns in the bank with 1 from starting and 2 from play time points). Mixture of Hexagone, Royal Fumble, and Jump Showdown. Still nothing on Fail Mountain.

Finals have been more fun since the patch as it seems more common to have 10 people in a final; it felt more like 6-8 before.

My strategy for Hex is to play it steady high up but always make sure you know where you've got to land. If you fall down early, clear big areas of the level particularly in the centre and hope people fall through.

Five in a row only going to be possible with a group playing and a lot of luck I reckon.

I'm more than ready for some new rounds though. Have they announced if it's going to be done in seasons or if levels will randomly drop into circulation?

@Thrillho unsure on the dates of the road map but there are 3 new games shown on a tweet earlier this month. Hopefully they are put into rotation sooner rather than later.

That said as people have improved the regular races and things are still fun imo. I was worried about longevity - I'm not going to from now on as its great to drop in and play.

It’ll just be interesting to see how the season system works in this game other than giving another 40 levels and rewards to get. I’m already on 32.

Just won the football round TWELVE nil. The other team were actually trying as well. I scored a bullet header from kick off. Closest thing I'll get to a win in this game considering I'll never win an episode!
