I’m so bad at the egg one, I always lose. I’m just going to chalk it down to luck every time I get that game.

@Gremio108 Yeah, I've only had a very small number of cases where it's not been an even match.

@nessisonett The best way to win that round is if everyone bullies one team rather than evenly stealing eggs (or balls for the similar one). The fight for the golden eggs is always real though.

The new final round looks more my kind of thing too!

I still haven't got around to installing this but have seen a few streams of it and look forward to giving it a go. Hopefully I've picked up a few tips watching them for when I get to it.

@nessisonett Absolutely. They need to have the ball catch game on the bridge for sure!

@nessisonett The key to winning the egg round is not to go after the other teams' egs but to stay in your end and protect your own. That's my approach anyhow. Grab as many at the start as possible and when they're all gone head back to the base and foil the efforts of tealeaves. Even if the rest of your team sucks it seems to make a significant difference to the outcome.

@HUMPERDOO I dunno about that. I think having a good team is important in every team game. Small strategies can work but it's a lot of luck. I tend to run straight to the opposing goal and start throwing eggs out ASAP. Towards the end it's chaos trying to retrieve eggs either way.

One game yesterday the blue team ended on 1 egg in their goal with that strat, other times it's more even.

With a bit of practice with a good squad you can use more tactics, I've watched a couple of vids from people who have done the 5 wins in a row trophy and they have all used teams when they are closing the trophy down. If you are going it alone regardless of your own ability if your team isnt in tandem you are going out.

The team ones suck. No matter what plan you come up with, you're always at the mercy of the other guys not letting you down.

With the egg one, I use the first 10 seconds or so to try and grab a few eggs then I pick on whichever team has the least, jump in their nest and try to throw them all out.

I've gotten pretty good at the royal fumble tail final. If I don't have a tail, I just hide behind one of the beams away from everyone else. Eventually the tail holder gets chased down my end, to which I jump out and surprise them.

Feels really unfair sometimes when your own tail gets grabbed even though the other guy appears to be a fair way behind.

I still seem to suck at hitting the footballs and throwing eggs. I’m sure this is some technique but I certainly don’t have it.

Just had a game with only 2 rounds. Only 4 of us made it out of Slime Climb so we had a Tail Tag game which I inevitably lost. Brilliant.

Had a few games with @Simon_Fitzgerald and @LiamCroft which was fun. Then met up with longtime gaming bro @Kyroki who went on a 2 win streak then just beaten into second place on hexigone on the 3rd run. Great games. My initial skills have deserted me now, 4 wins and all 4 came in the first 10 levels.

I swear to god, that’s about 3 times I’ve been pipped at the last second trying to grab that crown. It’s really annoying because in one of those, somebody grabbed onto me and held me back, allowing somebody else to grab it. I honestly don’t get what you gain from griefing on a game like Fall Guys. Other than me being annoyed of course.

Perhaps the person grabbing you was teamed up via matchmaking with the person who stole the crown from you. Either way, I feel your frustration. The tail grab final is the most likely place for that to happen.

Couple of questions. I thought this game was free, but it's €20. How is the rest of the game in terms of monetisation? Like, are there a ton of MTX, or can you unlock everything through playing?

@Octane You can unlock almost everything through playing. There's some DLC you can buy (just extra cosmetic items) but you can get everything else just competing normally. There are microtransactions that allow you to buy Kudos, which is the in-game currency, but you don't really need to. It builds up fairly quickly.

Crowns is a secondary currency, and you get one when you win, so they're pretty hard to come by, but you do get a couple of them as you level up.

@nessisonett Fall Guys allows party of up to 4 to enter the same game. Chances are the guy who grabbed you with on the same team as and communicating with the person who won.
