So as you can see from my avatar change I am very excited by the news of Iga's next game. I plan on backing it of course. So what are your guys thoughts on this game are you excited for it,

I have to say one thing thats nice is the fact that alot of creators lie Iga, Inafune and Kojima are throwing off the shackles of these big corporations to give us the games we want.

Very excited for this! Normally don't support Kickstarter but may reconsider for this. I'm glad that he and his team decided to go independent for this project.

This looks so tempting to back, even though im not a fan of most platformers

I'll take the Vita to the grave with me, even if Sony won't.

This will probably be the first and only game I actually back I want a physical copy with some art work and collectors guide or something
I'm more excited about this than probably any other game I can think of at the moment

I know what you mean, I have been playing my old Metroidvania Castlevania games since this announcement. 2017 can't come soon enough.

What dya get for backing? Any extras for milestones, testing, in game mentions, q and a that kind of thing? I was moaning about kickstarter a week ago about unfinished games and I've got to apologise but the game I was berating was released 2 months ago. I didn't even know and I'm now delighted. If your unsure about backing dont, but for Tasuki its a no brainer. Just make sure you check for updates as it takes ages (2-3 years) especially if there's little gameplay footage. If they use a familiar engine then I would say do it.

For what you get it all depends on how much you give. The best option in my opinion is the physical copy for $60. For that price it's as much as the regular price of a game. Other goodies range on getting your name in game to creating a monster for a it to a meeting with Iga himself. Again it all depends on how much you give.

Good stuff, getting pillars of eternity in the post next week with a novel and a map and some other guff. It was marketed as an oldschool bioware rpg ala baldurs gate and icewind dale, backed it, forgot about it, and moved house. My copy got returned and the chase email went into my junk. Yay technology. If that sounds like fun go and buy it, been getting 8 and 9 out of ten in most places.

Does anyone else think the game's name sounds like Bloodborne DLC?

Not really sounds more like Castlevania DLC to me.

Yes I hope they offer cross play or cross buy if the goal is met. I may back more if they do this.

If it does then they will more then likely reveal it along with all the specifics for the Vita version like they did for the Wii U when the goal was meet.

So now Bloodstained has been delayed from early 2017 to mid 2018. I will say it's kinda upsetting but I am still hopeful about it. From the sounds of it Igarashi was not happy the way things were going. Not sure what that means but that is one heck of delay.

Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

So it seems Bloodstained finally rised from the dead, this topic with it.

The spin-off game that was promised in the campained finally releases on 24-May while in June beta test of Ritual of the Night will begin.

The spin-off game, arriving on both PS4 and Vita among other platforms, is titled Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon and seems like a perfect Castlevania 3 NES clone:

As for the campain I ended up backing three digital versions PS4, Vita and Wii U (now Switch). I hope the game delivers and the 70 euros don't go to trash.

Hmm, I'll nab Curse of the Moon for Switch or Vita. Not sure which one yet.

I just received an email from the developers.

They chose to scrap the Vita version of bloodstained because, since the game will launch in 2019 so Sony won't allow them to make physical copies!! No be honest they offer a refund or a platform change but it is somewhat frustrating scrapping the Vita version. I personally pledged when they offered the Vita and Wii U (and they were both scrapped) versions but upgraded to get the PS4 one too. So I may ask for a refund.

I copy-paste parts of the email:

Hi everyone, IGA here.

There are two important announcements we would like to make in this month’s update.

Our first announcement is that the game will now launch in 2019. The most important reason for this is to raise the quality level, especially after all the very valuable feedback from the Beta Backer Demo.

The second announcement is that the game will no longer launch on PlayStation Vita. This decision is largely due to Sony’s plans to discontinue the Vita console, ending production of physical copies and stopping certain online store support features.

It is extremely unfortunate, but as a result, we won’t be releasing the game on Vita. For the backers who have ordered the PS Vita version of the game, you will be able to choose another platform or request a refund.

Being a huge PlayStation & Sony fan myself, I also know cancelling the Vita version of the game may be disappointing to some of you, but with Sony’s plans to discontinue the console and physical production of games, removing Vita titles from PS+ lineups etc., it was an unfortunate but necessary decision to make. We really hope you’ll continue to support us on one of the other platforms available.

"stopping certain online store support features"

this has me worried, i really hope Sony aren't about to ditch the Vita's storefront, there's still many games i haven't bought yet, even some PSP games on there i still want to get.
