I felt that New Vegas was better at story telling than 3. I know we wouldn't have NV without 3, but NV is just the better game. I have replayed it so many times now.

Who the devil said Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood is “not important.” That’s ludicrous. That’s important. It set the pace for the series, introduced one of the most unique multiplayer experiences into gaming, and helped further establish Ezio. It was received quite well critically and is very well remembered by most people. It also set up liberating areas for these types of games.
I have personal issues with the combat, but that placement is terrible. Also, Revelation is existing.

the only one that sticks out for me is destiny.. but my team ranked that!. i think a couple of people thought it was pointless on PS3, because most people bought it on PS4, and support for the PS3 version was dropped after the taken king. the game was originally designed for PS3/X360 hardware imo, and was sufficiently popular on PS3 to disregard it being pointless - it sold more than 2m on each of PS3 and X360, that's more than some games that have been ranked as very important - and it was an important transitional game to entice people to switch from one generation to the next, as all your progress from the PS3 could be transferred to the PS4 version. its impact as a game (irrespective of format) is pretty big imo.. it was one of the first with the game-as-a-service model on consoles, and whether that's a good or bad thing, it's hard to disagree that games like the division and anthem have taken more than a few cues from it.

as for the new list of 13: i've only played the ones below.

Fallout 3: Very Important — though personally I didn't like it at all.

I decided to take a look into Far Cry Compilation. It consists of Far Cry 2, Far Cry 3 and Far Cry Blood Dragon. But! Blood Dragon is just a download code, it's not on the disc. So considering this does absolutely nothing aside from provide the customer with a bundle, I would suggest pointless
But I think we should look at how other bundles of already existing games have and are going to be scored going forward and try and remain consistent.

@LieutenantFatman we will ditch the compilation.

@LieutenantFatman I agree that bundles of already single games should be ruled out as pointless, unless they are a HD remaster.
@themcnoisy Is this list we are working on just physical games or digital because some collections (ie God of War) came in a bundle first but then released as single games on the store.

@ZeD games that had a retail release. Its a lot less ganes than you would think. We are about a quarter through already once you take out Japanese and compilation games.

I have played none of these, but I did some basic research on three of the lesser known games. I figure plenty of people here have played the Fallout and Far Cry stuff.

Falling Skies The Game -
The reviews were in the 3-5/10 range. Very little information online at first glance and most is about the Xbox 360 version. Based on a cable TV show, which I know little about, it’s described as an “XCOM rip-off” that plays worse than the game it’s inspired by. Comments include poor graphics, and uninspired gameplay.

Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse -
Another game inspired by a TV show, this one a little more popular show. The animated comedic major network show spawned a few games and this is the one that landed on PS3. There is actually a Push Square review which gave it a mediocre score of 4/10, which is right in line with the Metacritic score of 40. Apparently it had some decent humor if that’s your thing, gameplay was poor with numerous fetch quests and what sounds to be generic third person shooting that feels out of place with the IP. The comments section for the review was unintentionally humorous to read in its own right as it just turned into a debate over what’s funnier - Family Guy or South Park and whether American style humor could be appreciated by the British. I also enjoyed the rather uncomplementary review from Xbox Magazine which stated the game was for “no-one. Not even people who like the TV show” and that “These writers hate humanity.” Artistically / visually speaking it looks like a reasonable rendition of what the show looks like (I don’t watch the show but have seen parts here and there). I don’t know, maybe it’s possible that this game inspired further animated comedy games to prosper, such as the two successful South Park games on PS4, but that might be giving it too much credit

Fantastic Four: Rise is the Silver Surfer -
Another licensed game, this based on the poorly received movie. The game came out on PS2 and PS3 as well as 360, Wii, and DS. Metacritic of 47 for the PS3 version, it obviously didn’t set the world on fire (pun semi-intended) “Dull, repetitive, and lazy” It’s gameplay is based on X-Men legends. It sounds interesting that you can play as any of the four heroes and switch at any time, but one review stated “you never feel like you’re played as a hero” and the it’s a missed opportunity, much like the movie, although the game looks decent enough. The positives — maybe it’s not the worst superhero game ever? How’s that for damning it with faint praise.

Both are easily a 5 - Very important (Even if I'm not terribly fond of Fallout 3)
