Wow, I was so disappointed that PSVR2 has no vr180/vr360 support.
When PSVR came out, there were a few apps that made it possible to watch vr180/vr360 content. There are some really cool vids out on youtube, which had a VR specific mode for PSVR. BTW, that mode stopped working on PSVR back in Nov 2022 (at least in my case).
I'm really not sure why this is the case. I would think that it should be really easy to display vr180/vr360 videos on PSVR2. Has anyone run across any "serious" article explaining why vr180/vr360 content is not supported?
