Yeah that was good fun - I'll be around over the weekend if anyone wants to play Strikes, etc.

Thanks for a good evening. We got through that quite quickly considering a few had never attempted a Hard run and our weaponry isn't the 'best'. I can't complain at my Rewards from it either - I would have preferred the Sparrow to the Ship as I can use the Sparrow but the Ship is nothing but a Cosmetic! At least I didn't get another Chatterwhite!!

On a separate note, My pre-order of the Taken King arrived today. I must admit I am a little disappointed! I ordered the Taken King (as that's what it said on the box) but I get 'Destiny' on disc! Inside is a 'Download code' for the Taken King!! It seems I will be ending up with the Digital version of The Taken King anyway!! I do think its quite misleading but to a degree I can understand why - swapping discs to play yr1 and yr2 content but I still think its a bit 'off'.

@BAMozzy: That's terrible and no good at all! Download code seriously?

All depends on the content we will get I suppose and I am eagerly awaiting the pushsquare review

@BAMozzy: haha that's what I was saying last night actually. I went for the digital version because I'm hoping that it means I can stop using the Destiny disc. I know it's a game I'll be playing on and off for the next year so would rather it was just on my hard drive ready to go. Hopefully with TTK download I can just disregard the Destiny disc. the download is only showing at 10mb anyway, everything TKK needs to go was in the 18gb patch the other day.

@themcnoisy: Yeah - seriously!! The Taken King is not on the Disc at all - at least I don't think it is. Obviously I haven't checked but I do have a 'download' code for the Taken King! Both my PS4 and XB1 Taken King games have 'Destiny' discs but with a 'download' code for both yr1 Expansions and TTK.

@kyleforrester87: I really don't think it will work like that. I expect you will need to put the Destiny Disc in - much the same way as you do to play the Dark Below and House of Wolves content too.

In regards to the TTK review, because it's online only (like Destiny as a whole), we won't be playing it until you lot are, so no pre-release coverage I'm afraid!

Anyone know what time I can use the code for accessing the Taken King inside the Legendary Edition physical version? It say the code is valid on 15/092015 (until 15/09/2016) so can I enter it at midnight tonight or do I have to wait until 10am (UK) when the Taken King goes live?

@BAMozzy I'd say try it at midnight and see what happens. Worst case scenario is you have to go to bed and wait!

It would be nice to have everything ready to go at 10am as I finally managed to get all my classes to 34 this week rather than have to wait for it to download and install.

So Guardians, do we have a group to tackle Court of Oryx and then move on to the Raid some in a couple week's time?

What sort of light level are we looking at? I've not played much but am around light 210. Wouldn't mind gearing up a bit more before trying that stuff. Having said that Saturday any time works for me.

I think we should aim for 250 light level. This weekend will not be good at all for me, so we all have plenty of time to get there, how about next Friday night, a week from tomorrow for the Court?

With what I gathered we can have multiple 3 man fireteams going into the dreadnaught and helping each other out in there, so join in people, none left behind.

What you doing this weekend that's so important eh??

Next weekend is fine, perhaps Saturday a bit better than Friday as I'm not particularly mentally coherent after a long week but either can work for me.

As an aside I havn't beaten Skolas yet on poe level 35, might take a stab at that now we're all overpowered

Next Sat would also be all good and nice for me, lets see what the people say. I just want to get enough light level to play ad hoc in end game stuff, like the raid, so I can focus on every other game.

But tomorrow one of my mates leaving do, he's going to Hong Kong for two years, then it's date weekend so I'll be checking out the new exhibition at the British Museum hahaha

Who's up for loads of Destiny this weekend? I'm up for doing Strike playlists and patrols - really want to get some co-op in with you lot fairly soon!

Also, we should totally tackle the Raids again. With higher light levels and way better gear, I'd like to see how much of a challenge they are. Same with PoE.

As always, let me know on here or on PSN if you're up for it. Like I say, it'd be great to get everyone together this weekend and try loads of the new stuff as a team!
