Topic: MW3

WHO ELSE IS ALREADY FOR CoD MODERN WARFARE 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So far it's looking like it will be a collaboration effort between Infinity Ward and Respawn Entertainment, and looks to be a prequel to the original Modern Warfare.

I'm sold as long as Treyarch is out of the picture and the game runs on the Modern Warfare game engine. I'm no fan of Black Ops, I don't like the guns, the gimped care package system, and many other changes they made to the series.

Modern Warfare 2 is so great though, I could play if for years still though.

With CoD, they might as well get rid of their campaigns...
I feel similar to lipnox about Activision's decisions. I didn't care for either game (MW2 or and really couldn't care less about mw3. I'm not a big pvp guy (unless it's MAG or Unreal Tournament) and would LOVE to see a strong co-op campaign in mw3 that's longer than 3 hours, but it's probable that won't happen.

I've not heard anything about a monthly fee either. I hear the opposite to be honest.

Anyone think mw3 will have Move support, or is the focus still too Xbox strong do you think?

I think the chances of Move coming to MW3 is about the same as the chances of Sony getting the timed exclusives to the map packs Lol.

Campaign?? People actually play that?  I thought online is all there was...

Lol, I actually beat the MW2 campaign multiple times over. I thought it was fantastic.

Modern Warfare and it's appeal to the person really does come with gamers preference. I'm an all out run-and-gunner. I'm so fast with my trigger finger I don't care what name or team the other person is on in Modern Warfare, if it moves, I shoot unless it's completely and blatantly obvious that it a team-mate. I actually jumped back on MW2 last night and my first game in months I went 21-6. I absolutely think that the Modern Warfare franchise is the pinnacle of FPS online shooting, but that is just me.

I'm also good at COD. Basically because i have good twitch reflexes and can run from place to place and shoot before I'm shot. It's great fun, but I realise why some people hate on it so much. I mean If you can't twitch shoot, don't bother trying it. At least in multiplayer.

I think it's by far the easiest;therefore, rated so highly among a lot of casual gamers. I honestly don't see a whole lot of skill in MW2(mostly) or BO compared to other shooters. This is the main reason I didn't like it. After a few matches all the challenge was gone.

I still think it has a long way to go to compete with Counter Strike for the best online fps title. Spitting out 90% finished games isn't the way to earn it

As long as the campaign is great (A prequel sounds awesome.) and the multiplayer is NOT like BO and doesn't have a subscription fee.

I havent bothered with COD for a few years now. I think the last one I played a lot was probably 3. The simple online setup and 4 player split-screen online made it a blast for me.. Ive tried all the 'new' ones but I reckon Activision have just butchered it now with its annual releases. Each new COD seems even more diluted than the last. MW2 only lasted about 10 hours online before i chucked it lol It'll take something REALLY special to make me shell out some hard earned money on a COD game now.

@nathanuc1988 MAG and UT3 are two fine examples of quality core shooters. MAG is probably the most underrated game on Ps3. Zipper deserve credit for the constant attention they show MAG, unlike infinity ward with COD.

I can agree that MAG is underrated it's such a fun game i do play it more often than black ops
