Does anybody know how you go about doing this? I've noticed that across all of my consoles, I regularly get notifications appear to inform me that "insert friend here has joined a party", presumably so that I can request to join. Unsurprisingly, these get on my nerves - if I want to join a party with someone, I'll start one or request entry to theirs, I don't need to know every time they join one!
I can see the benefit of a notification when somebody invites you to one, but telling you every time anyone joins one just seems a bit overkill.

This is good news to me. I'm getting sick of those since I don't really play online, but it wasn't quite bothersome enough to search on it too heavily. Now that I know it's that easy, I'll switch it off tonight.
@get2sammyb: Cheers Sammy, will give this a go when I get home. There doesn't seem to be any option to remove this on the Vita, so I'm hoping updating the setting on PS4 will just apply that change automatically across the other systems as well!

This popped up just when I finished journey, I wouldn't mind but the notification is pretty big and the sound it makes is annoying. Turning this off thx chaps.
