Hi all could really use some help or advice before I do something I regret.
For the last month or so some games when ever I click on to start the game I end up with an error code and getting kicked offline and having to sign back in again.
Lots of trophies have not been triggering and whenever I try to sync my trophies I just receive another error message.
So following someone's advice I rebuilt the database but almost immediately after signing in I received the same error!
So now I'm told to delete my Ps4 User name and recover it but I'm really worried I end up losing my name and everything attached to it for good..can someone please let me know if once I delete my Ps4 User name I can recover it?If so how exactly and is it a long process?
I've had my Ps4 since launch and never had anything go wrong until now and im not exactly the most technical minded person!
I plan on getting a Ps5 but I'm afraid if I don't sort this problem out the problem might follow me onto the next system.

Deleting the user id/profile will also delete all your saves so make sure to back them up to cloud or USB first. Recovering it is simple and takes seconds. Start the PS4 and on the sign in screen choose use existing account and enter the email and password of the deleted account and you're done.

@Wazeddie22 - Yeah it's that easy mate, just pick add new user and click through until use existing, fill in the details and you're done. Hopefully that sorts things out for you. If not then back up all your stuff and try the initialize system option. Good luck!
