I'm trying to find out which generation/model my ps4 controller is because I want to modify it (in terms of changing shells or thumbstick for example), but I have 'Sweaty Hand Syndrome' which arises whenever I play for long (like over an hour) so the label on the underside of the controller is just blank as a result of my moist fingers constantly rubbing against it. I've tried to research with no luck so I've come here for some aid. The controller came with the console in the box and was bought as a Christmas present at the end of 2015 (I live in the UK). Perhaps there's someone out there who possesses knowledge of which models were released when. Any responses will be taken with great gratitude. Thanks for reading.
