Topic: How to save game progress? Help please

Hello all, sorry if this is a stupid Q. But I just got a PS4. I’d only ever had a the very first console before. Is there a way to save your precise point in a game? I bought deliver us the moon. There is no in game “save” option and when I quit and returned to “continue” the game, it took me back substantially further than I thought the obvious check point would have been. So I have to replay a chunk of it. Is there anyway round this or does it just depend on individual games? Thanks

Simple answer is it depends on individual games, unfortunately. There's no way to perform a save state of a game at system level either.
