Hi All, Just wondering about your experience returning hardware for repair?

After speaking to Sony customer services I returned 2 PS4 controllers both suffering from drift. These controllers were bought new in April this year and haven't had a lot of use. I'd tried all the online suggestions - resetting etc, except taking them apart as they are under guarantee.

That was 5 weeks ago. I rang on 8th December and they said they'd escalate it. Today, another two weeks further on the CS agent I just spoke to sounded very surprised it had taken so long but I'm not convinced - his response might just be good training. There are no further updates on the system since it was "escalated".

Is this normal?
