Hi guys, I have a long winded very technically question I really need help with.. basically I've been game sharing with my friend in America for about 8 years. I'd say at least 85% of my saved games are from games that he has bought.. im running a serise 1100 ps4, one of the first ones they brought out. Unfortunately that playstation is dying slowly, now he bought me a new playstation 4 and I. Too scared to use it.. as I will need to move him and myself onto the new playstation. To do this he will need to delete my account from his playstation. So I can re- sign Into him on the new playstation. Now I know I will have to re download the games again, but I'm concerned that I will loose all my saves game data ( progress ) when I transfer across. Is this the case or.. when I uploaded all my saved game data ( progress ) to the cloud. Is it 100% safe from getting deleted when he takes me off his system to put me on the new one?.
If you have PS Plus and have uploaded the saves - you definitely have nothing to worry about. As long as you use the same account, you'll be able to download them on the new one.
That being said - I'm not too sure why you'd need to delete the account from his console? Can you explain?
