I am having a crackle in the chat audio when Im playing on my PS4.
The crackle sounds like playing an old vinyl record. It used to not do this.
Ive narrowed it down to a playstation level (or service) eliminating the controller and the headset.
The crackle also occurs when I have the headset unplugged. I can hear the crackle thru my regular speakers.
Ive restarted my router and network switch. I also power-cycled my PS4. I also plugged the Ethernet into a different jack and it still does the same thing. Also tried using Wireless. Same result.
It occurs across all games, Fortnite, Fallout 76 Farcry 5, etc. And it doesn't matter if I use the games chat or the Playstations party system.
What else can I do? or do I just have to live with it?
