So I have 2 step verification activated on my PS4, but it is connected to my old number. It never has me use the 2SV on my home system so I kinda forgot I had it. My old phone has been deactivated and after the recent down time of the ps4 servers, it's asking me to use my 2SV. I don't have any backup codes created, the ps4 phone support is down because of Covid19, and the chat only gives me a bot which is completely useless. Someone please help.

@Dyrubix21001 Alas, the human element of Sony Support has been absent since the pandemic began, yet contacting them would be your best bet here, as they could manually reset your account's security. You'll either have to wait for them to return to work, once things normalise in your region, or try and track down an alternative form of contact.

I know you're not the first person to have this issue during the pandemic, so perhaps a more extensive Google search will locate something more useful.
