Dispatch PS5 Game of the Month November 2025

Update []: Our official Push Square Game of the Month for November 2025 has been decided... and it's Dispatch!

The superhero-centric, story-driven title won the public vote by a landslide, although some may argue that last month's competition was a bit lacking.

Again, just for the record, Dispatch adopted an episodic release schedule, with its first two episodes launching back in October.

However, the final two episodes dropped on the 12th November, and so we made the executive decision to include it in November's Game of the Month debate. After all, you wouldn't rate a game without actually rolling the credits, would you?

Over 800 votes were cast this time around, across a total of 10 nominees. According to our readers, these were the top 5 PS5 games for November:

  1. Dispatch - 410 votes (50%)
  2. Where Winds Meet - 91 votes (11%)
  3. Lumines Arise - 79 votes (10%)
  4. STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl - 76 votes (9%)
  5. Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road - 32 votes (4%)

Dispatch is a worthy winner, we feel. Telltale Games may have all but popularised and then dismantled the episodic model within the space of several years, but AdHoc Studio's effort actually made the most of it.

Hooked by entertaining characters, comedic writing, and some surprisingly addictive gameplay elements, loads of players found themselves coming back to Dispatch every week.

"Assuming your tastes align with the game's comedic beats, Dispatch is a damn good time," is what we wrote in our full Dispatch PS5 review. We gave it a 'great' 8/10 score.

Congratulations to Robert Robertson and his ragtag gang of ex-villains on the win. We suppose this qualifies as an Employee of the Month award over at SDN!

Original Story: November has come and gone, if you can believe it, and we're now hurtling towards the beginning of 2026. It feels as though the last month went by in the blink of an eye...

Which is weird from a gaming perspective, because if we're being honest, November was uncharacteristically light. Don't get us wrong, there were plenty of new releases, it's just that blockbusters were few and far between.

Indeed, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 was easily the most high profile title of the month, but it was hounded by middling review scores and some negative feedback from players.

It was really down to smaller games to command our attention, with the superb Lumines Arise providing a truly must-play PS5 puzzler. Story-driven, mind-bending excursion 1000xRESIST was similarly enthralling.

Beyond those, Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road turned out to be a bit of a surprise hit, with the football-based RPG benefitting from very positive word of mouth (and yes, we're still questioning why review codes were nowhere to be seen).

Where Winds Meet deserves a mention as well. The free-to-play, open world action RPG is bafflingly ambitious and close to falling apart on PS5, but it's certainly unique.

And speaking of falling apart, STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl finally got its PlayStation port right at the end of the month, and it took a huge day one patch to get things clicking into gear.

Oh, and we can't forget about Dispatch. The episodic superhero drama launched its first two episodes back in October, but we think it's only right to include it in this Game of the Month poll, given that it concluded on the 12th November.

Now then, with that out of the way, let's quickly recap our Game of the Month winners for 2025 up until now...
