The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III (PS4)
$23.99/£19.99 (-60%)
A leap forward from the first two Cold Steel titles thanks to a new engine, Trails of Cold Steel III sees a slightly older Rean Schwarzer return to his beloved Thors Military Academy as an instructor. Guiding an all-new Class VII in their special ops missions, it isn't long until old friends (and old enemies) start popping up in what is often an engrossing character-driven story. What's more, Cold Steel III makes some fantastic additions to the series' already great turn-based combat system, while larger environments offer so many opportunities for exploration. One of Falcom's finest.

The Plucky Squire (PS5)
$9.89/£8.24 (-67%)
The Plucky Squire is a delightful adventure that surprises with fun ideas in every chapter. The world within the book offers unique puzzles and challenges, which is compounded by Jot's ability to leap from its pages into the third dimension. Though the combat's kinda flat, and some elements deserve to be used more often than they are, there's an undeniable joy to the game's constant imaginative ideas. It's a short but sweet game that'll win over players of all ages
The Talos Principle II (PS5)
$9.89/£8.24 (-67%)
The Talos Principle 2 follows in its predecessor's shoes by nailing down a brilliant philosophical puzzle sequel with new and improved mechanics. If the puzzle solving doesn't get your brain ticking, then the in-depth philosophical discussions surely will. With exceptional puzzle design, glorious presentation, and thought-provoking conversations, Croteam has created a follow-up to be remembered for years to come.
Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter (PS5)
$44.99/£37.49 (-25%)
Trails simply doesn't get much better than Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter. This is a full-on remake of Falcom's very first Trails title, rebuilt from the ground up to be what is easily the series' best-looking instalment to date. Borrowing the hybrid combat system of later Trails games, it's got some of the most refined gameplay mechanics in the franchise, blending a classic JRPG foundation with modern sensibilities. A perfect gateway to Trails as a whole.
Trails through Daybreak (PS5)
$35.99/£29.99 (-40%)
Trails through Daybreak marks the beginning of a brand new saga in Falcom's Trails series, taking players on a trip to the Republic of Calvard — a key location that's being fully explored for the first time in the franchise. Equipped with a more mature tone and darker story beats, Daybreak feels like a real step forward from past titles in terms of narrative stakes. What's more, a much improved engine allows Falcom to craft some of its biggest and best-looking environments to date, while a suite of gameplay adjustments — and key additions — make for a fantastic combat system. Daybreak is arguably the most 'standalone' Trails release yet, and as such, it's a recommended starting point for newcomers.
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection (PS5)
$19.99/£17.99 (-60%)
A compilation including two of the PS4’s most beloved games was destined to be well-received, and while the absence of PS3 era adventures like Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves prevents this from being definitive, it’s still an absolute must for thrill seekers. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End paints protagonist Nathan Drake as a weary buccaneer on one final score, while the even more refined Uncharted: The Lost Legacy – originally intended as DLC – acts as a kind of Greatest Hits album, with series stalwart Chloe Frazer serving as a superb step-in for Nate. Series creator Naughty Dog could have done more to upgrade these greats for the PS5 console, but there’s no question this collection is a must-play.
Unpacking (PS5)
$7.99/£6.39 (-60%)
Unpacking proves that even the simplest of concepts can have impact. The act of moving a young woman into her various living spaces by unboxing all her possessions is a surprisingly effective storytelling device, and what's more, it's incredibly relaxing to do. Gorgeous pixel art and chill music enhance the vibe as you follow the main character through her life. While it doesn't last very long, it's a memorable game that does a lot with a little.
Vendetta Forever (PS5)
$10.99/£8.79 (-45%)
If you played SUPERHOT and are looking for more, Vendetta Forever is your best bet. This PSVR2 puzzle shooter has you killing targets in stylish ways, and the only way you can move is by teleporting to the weapon your downed enemies were holding. Strategic, responsive, and satisfying, this is a brilliant virtual reality title that really makes the most of the tech, and makes you feel like a badass to boot.
WipEout Omega Collection (PS4)
$9.99/£11.99 (-50%/-60%)
The granddaddy of anti-gravity racing makes a triumphant return to PlayStation with a gorgeous remaster that brings together content from WipEout HD, Fury, and 2048. The fast and fluid racer plays beautifully, looks gorgeous, and runs like a shiny, metal dream. The recently added VR support is incredibly well implemented too, making this an even better package for PSVR owners. While we’d have preferred an all new entry in the franchise, this serves as a great reminder of why WipEout is so beloved by fans.

Bit of mixed bag in regards to actual "sales" MGSD being 50% is very nice if people are still on the fence about it. Really tempted with Nioh but isn't there a PS5 version? Sekiro still at £30 is wild to me (yes it's a god tier game but still), Honestly Spyro is the one jumping out to me the most.
That F.I.S.T. game with the rabbit looks interesting, might look into that further.
I recommend Pentiment from this sale. Go into it expecting a period drama murder mystery. If you like historical fiction you'll have a good time with the setting and characters. I loved it.
I strongly recommend System Shock 2. This is a top-tier classic, a Sci-fi FPS/RPG hybrid, one of the best immersive sims. Yes, some aspects feel dated, but the atmosphere is fantastic. This is the game that inspired: BioShock, Prey (2017), Deus Ex, Dead Space.
Grabbed Tainted Grail. After learning about it from this site and seeing that the developer just came out with a new update, I thought it was time to snag it. Hopefully I didn't get bagged by their dynamic pricing.
@Stephen couldn't you just give us a list of your recommendations instead pages, we can quickly scan list click on any title we're interested in and be on our way.

I was surfing like night I bought AC Unity for £3.74 and was looking for some more games and I'm sorry the store is full again of shovelware again. It's clear that the ones been removed have now been replaced with more crap
Might grab Pentiment. Enjoyed it on Game Pass and it’s worth another run or two to see different outcomes.
Promise Mascot Agency is a fun game I very much recommend.
Warhammer darktide is a good price for 9
