Dragon's Crown Pro (PS4)

$3.99/£4.99 (-80%)

Dragon's Crown Pro is one of the best, most memorable beat-'em-ups on the market. Topped off with some incredibly addictive RPG elements, it's difficult not to fall in love with Vanillaware's stellar sidescroller and its addictive loop. Dragon's Crown Pro continues the legacy of a modern classic, and if you haven't tried it before, now's your chance.

Dredge (PS5)

$9.99/£7.99 (-60%)

The best thing about Dredge is its ingenious core concept. Playing as a hard-working fisherman, it's your job to go out into the open waters, catch fish, then sell them to fishmongers for a tidy sum. Using the money you earn and the resources you find, you'll slowly upgrade your trawler to become a more capable vessel. This would be enough on its own to provide a good time, but the spooky twist means there's a near-constant sense of, well, dread. As you progress, more and more eldritch horrors will present themselves, challenging your impulse to fish into the night by creeping you out with weird visions and inexplicable dangers. An eerie game that reels you in with its moreish gameplay loop.

Fantasian Neo Dimension (PS5)

$19.99/£19.99 (-60%)

Fantasian Neo Dimension evokes memories of classic Final Fantasy. It's got an impeccable soundtrack, beautiful locales, and a world that inspires wonder. But it's let down a little by likeable but fiercely archetypal characters and a by-the-numbers story, and it's let down a lot by wild and uneven difficulty spikes that make combat a source of constant frustration in the second half of the adventure. Even with its flaws, however, there are few RPGs quite like this one — genre fans will want to give this a look.

Freedom Wars Remastered (PS5)

$15.99/£13.19 (-60%)

Freedom Wars Remastered is an excellent way to relive the restrictive action game. In 2025, the game's forward-thinking multiplayer components have a greater chance of capturing a dedicated community, and graphical and technical enhancements make it the definitive way to play. But it's a PS Vita game at its core; constant loading, dull characters, comparatively simple combat, and endless busy work have somewhat dented our rosy memories of the original game.

Frog Detective: The Entire Mystery (PS5)

$11.99/£9.59 (-40%)

As the name suggests, Frog Detective: The Entire Mystery bundles together all three adventures into one package, and it's utterly delightful. These are short but brilliantly mad detective stories that have you searching for clues and getting answers from witnesses — once you help them out first, of course. Genuinely funny throughout, all three Frog Detective mysteries are a real treat to discover, and the perfect lighthearted fare for a rainy weekend.

Gears of War: Reloaded (PS5)

$19.99/£19.99 (-50%)

One of the most iconic Xbox franchises ever lands on PS5 with somewhat of a graphical thud. On its second remaster, Gears of War: Reloaded won’t impress visually. However, with a campaign that still has something to offer despite its dated design, and an excellent multiplayer mode on top, this is a welcome introduction to the Gears of War series. 20 years later, the game that started it all is still more than worth playing.

Horizon Forbidden West (PS5)

$29.99/£26.99 (-40%)

The sequel to Guerrilla Games' breakout hit, Horizon Zero Dawn, is bigger and better than its immediate predecessor in every single way. Horizon Forbidden West may retread familiar territory with its open world RPG adventure, but it improves upon the writing, introducing a worthwhile cast of characters for heroine Aloy to bounce off. New combat and exploration wrinkles, including a grappling hook, intensify the action, while the eponymous Forbidden West is a diverse sandbox, bursting with varied biomes and secrets to discover.

inFAMOUS: First Light (PS4)

$7.49/£5.99 (-50%)

inFAMOUS: First Light is a spin-off from the main series, starring the neon-powered conduit, Fetch. This standalone adventure has you playing as the character, telling the story of her past that led to her capture. It's another excuse to zip around an open world Seattle, and with a short run time, it's refreshingly brief. If you're after a slice of slick superhero action that doesn't outstay its welcome, this comes recommended.

Katamari Damacy Reroll (PS4)

$7.49/£6.24 (-75%)

The beloved cult classic returns in Katamari Damacy Reroll, a joyous remaster of the PS2 roll-'em-up. The King of All Cosmos has sent you down to Earth to roll up all manner of objects to create stars, and while the controls take a little getting used to, it remains a very fun, arcade-like experience. Satisfying, fast-paced, and unshakeably odd, there's nothing quite like this series, and the first game arguably does it best.

Kill Knight (PS5)

$7.49/£5.79 (-50%)

Kill Knight is a brutal twin-stick arcade game that plays like DOOM's sugar-crazed nephew. You descend through the various stages of hell, fending off seemingly impossible numbers of enemies with a pair of guns, a sword, and a dash. It's blisteringly fast and rewards skilful yet aggressive play, gradually opening up new abilities, equipment, and higher difficulties. This is a blistering, relentless force of a game to really test your skills.

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii (PS5)

$14.99/£13.74 (-75%)

A thoroughly enjoyable side game that looks to offer familiar Like a Dragon action with a swashbuckling twist, Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is a flamboyant distraction between mainline entries. The story doesn’t compare favourably to the mainline entries and the new island areas quickly become repetitive, but the novelty of Goro Majima at the helm of a pirate ship never quite wears off. Stay for its frenzied action and jolly pirate ship battles and you’ll have a good time.
