DOOM Eternal (PS5)
$7.99/£6.99 (-80%)
If you like your first-person shooters fast, demanding, and bloody, DOOM Eternal is the peak. A fantastic gameplay loop means you're constantly on the move and playing aggressively, earning more ammo and health by getting right up in those demonic faces and literally ripping them a new one. On PS5, it's somehow even better, with three visual modes — including one with ray tracing — and DualSense support. A brilliant FPS that really sings on Sony's current hardware.

If you're itching for an angsty JRPG that's very much a product of its time, Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster is the game for you. Square Enix did a great job of updating this saga for both modern and nostalgic audiences. Even though parts of it have definitely aged, Final Fantasy X remains a landmark release, telling a love story that's full of weird twists, spread across an intriguing and unique fantasy world. X-2, on the other hand, borders on fan fiction. A direct sequel to X that's campy beyond measure — but it's still a fun time thanks to well worked gameplay mechanics.

Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut (PS4)
$19.79/£25.19 (-67%/-58%)
Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut repackages one of the greatest open world games of the PS4 era. A breakout hit for first-party developer Sucker Punch, this expanded re-release includes a new idyllic samurai sandbox named Iki Island, and forces protagonist Jin Sakai to face some painful memories. This is the definitive version of one of PlayStation Studios’ crowning PS4 achievements.
Grounded (PS5)
$19.99/£16.49 (-50%)
A brilliantly conceived co-op game, Grounded sees you shrunk to the size of an ant and trying to survive in your parent's backyard. You'll need to scavenge for resources, manage your vitals, and deal with all kinds of insects, like spiders and bugs.
Hades (PS5)
$8.74/£6.99 (-65%)
Bored of his immortal life in the Underworld, Zagreus takes it upon himself to escape the reaches of his godly father. In the brilliant roguelike Hades, you'll aid the prince in his attempts to reach the surface, engaging in countless runs through the ever-shifting realms. With each death comes plot development, however; a story is expertly interwoven with the gameplay loop, giving you a small taste of what each character has been up to before you dive back into the dungeons once more. With slick, fast-paced combat, an endless variety of perks and power-ups to try, and an escalating challenge for those that stick around, this is a fantastic action game that makes the most of its looping structure.
Horizon Forbidden West (PS5)
$29.99/£26.99 (-40%)
The sequel to Guerrilla Games' breakout hit, Horizon Zero Dawn, is bigger and better than its immediate predecessor in every single way. Horizon Forbidden West may retread familiar territory with its open world RPG adventure, but it improves upon the writing, introducing a worthwhile cast of characters for heroine Aloy to bounce off. New combat and exploration wrinkles, including a grappling hook, intensify the action, while the eponymous Forbidden West is a diverse sandbox, bursting with varied biomes and secrets to discover.
inFAMOUS: First Light (PS4)
$7.49/£5.99 (-50%)
inFAMOUS: First Light is a spin-off from the main series, starring the neon-powered conduit, Fetch. This standalone adventure has you playing as the character, telling the story of her past that led to her capture. It's another excuse to zip around an open world Seattle, and with a short run time, it's refreshingly brief. If you're after a slice of slick superhero action that doesn't outstay its welcome, this comes recommended.
Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess (PS5)
$29.99/£24.74 (-25%)
One of Capcom's more left-field games in recent memory, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is a compelling combination of strategy and action. Playing as the guardian of a maiden with the power to clear a sinister corruption, you must tactically place villagers of various types around each stage in order to help ward off enemies that spawn at nightfall, when the game becomes a hack-and-slash. While it can be tough at times, there's real invention and charm to this unique title.
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth (PS5)
$20.99/£17.99 (-70%)
With the best turn-based gameplay, the biggest and best cast of characters, and the most gripping story in the series so far, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is comfortably the greatest Yakuza game to date. Ichican and Kiryu hit up the new destination of Hawaii in search of the former's long-lost mother, but their quest really is just the tip of the iceberg. Improved combat makes fights more engaging than ever, upgraded graphics bring new life to classic locations like Kamurocho, and deep and fascinating characters both new and old mean you won't want to stop playing until the credits roll. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth really is RGG Studio at its peak.
Marvel Cosmic Invasion (PS5)
$23.99/£19.99 (-20%)
Marvel Cosmic Invasion does little to surprise, but it executes excellently on its retro beat-‘em-up ambitions. Depth perception can be a problem, but we like how the tag-team format gives the game a bit more of a chaotic feel, especially during local and online co-op sessions. And we also appreciate how each superhero handles slightly differently, adding a lot of replay value to a brawler that already has a relatively robust content offering.
Metaphor: ReFantazio (PS5)
$34.99/£29.99 (-50%)
The team behind the Persona series presents its take on a fantasy RPG with Metaphor: ReFantazio. Structured very similarly to its stablemates, this game has you exploring a realm filled with monsters, monarchy, and magic, and is just as stylish too, with gorgeous presentation throughout. Presenting players with one of the best RPG stories in recent memory, engaging combat, and rewarding gameplay systems, this is yet another banger from Atlus.

Really like the fact that when you guys at PushSquare write up these sale related articles, you take the time to list the physical releases too (when applicable). That’s going above and beyond 👍
@Balaam_ they are affiliate links, PushSquare has a financial incentive to place those banners. It's not because they're trying to champion physical media.
Just felt it was worth pointing out Team Sonic Racing is on sale when the last time was almost a full calendar year ago.
These articles are really helpful for me. Sometimes I don't have something on my wishlist that I am interested in, so thanks for putting these together! It's much easier than scrolling through all the junk on the PS Store.
I really can't recommend Tchia enough. It's a Zelda-esque game set in New Caledonia based on their mythology. It looks like a cute kid's game, but don't let that fool you. It has some seriously dark humor that had me cracking up. Being able to possess any animal you see in the game never gets old. You can even possess a bird and poop on people. Yes, really. It was one of my favorite games in the last 10 years.
Absolum not only is one of the best video games I ever play but it's a instant classic and my favorite rogue like games ever.its that incredible. Word up son
