Horizon Forbidden West (PS5)

$29.99/£26.99 (-40%)

The sequel to Guerrilla Games' breakout hit, Horizon Zero Dawn, is bigger and better than its immediate predecessor in every single way. Horizon Forbidden West may retread familiar territory with its open world RPG adventure, but it improves upon the writing, introducing a worthwhile cast of characters for heroine Aloy to bounce off. New combat and exploration wrinkles, including a grappling hook, intensify the action, while the eponymous Forbidden West is a diverse sandbox, bursting with varied biomes and secrets to discover.

KeyWe (PS5)

$3.74/£2.99 (-85%)

You and a co-op buddy play as kiwi birds running a post office — what more could you possibly ask for? This cute and quirky co-op game has you hopping around, sorting letters, typing labels, and more in your quest to do a good job. It's not the most complex game in the world, but if you're after a co-op experience that offers something a bit different, this is a fun option.

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii (PS5)

$17.99/£16.49 (-70%)

A thoroughly enjoyable side game that looks to offer familiar Like a Dragon action with a swashbuckling twist, Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is a flamboyant distraction between mainline entries. The story doesn’t compare favourably to the mainline entries and the new island areas quickly become repetitive, but the novelty of Goro Majima at the helm of a pirate ship never quite wears off. Stay for its frenzied action and jolly pirate ship battles and you’ll have a good time.

Lost Judgment (PS5)

$11.99/£9.99 (-80%)

A sequel to superb detective thriller Judgment, Lost Judgment doesn't quite hit the dizzying highs of its predecessor in terms of storytelling and character development, but it's still a great action RPG. Packed with intense plot twists and carried by an excellent cast, Lost Judgment is a typical Yakuza-style thrill ride — but it's actually the ridiculous amount of impressively varied side content that drives Yagami's sophomore case. An expanded, satisfying combat system is worthy of note as well.

Monster Sanctuary (PS4)

$3.99/£3.19 (-80%)

Overall, Monster Sanctuary is a delight. Exploring the interconnected world with your team and discovering cool new monsters is always fun, but it's the process of developing your favourite companions that makes the game so hard to put down.

Moss: Book II (PS5)

$9.99/£8.99 (-50%)

An early star of virtual reality was Moss, and this follow-up builds on those solid foundations. Moss: Book II continues the adventures of Quill, who now has access to multiple weapons to fend off enemies. They also play into the game's puzzles, which are larger in scope and more complex than the first game. It all looks wonderful too — the environments and character animations are gorgeous, and your unique perspective lets you get a really good look at these cutesy levels. It's not a massive departure from what came before, but this five-hour adventure is thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish.

Norco (PS5)

$5.79/£4.79 (-60%)

Norco is a point and click narrative adventure set in a bleak, dystopian Louisiana. The grungy setting paves the way for a series of engaging puzzles, but perhaps the best thing about this game is its story and writing. We won't spoil anything, of course, as it's a big part of the appeal here. If you're after a well-crafted narrative and don't mind things getting dark, this is definitely worth checking out.
