Close to a colossal 4,000 PS5 and PS4 games are on sale in Sony’s epic Spring Sale, which is rolling out at the time of writing and scheduled to run through 24th April. A second phase of deals will be added to the current crop on 10th April, potentially making this one of the biggest PS Store promotions in history.

Might have to get Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 at that price. The first game was a big suprise to me.
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is a steal at that price. One of the top games of the year so far along with Tekken 8.
@Gamer83 It's cheaper as a physical release though, plus you can sell your physical copy when you've finished the game.
I hardly ever see anything interesting in these overhyped digital sales.

Why are "successful" games going on sale two months after release?
Bizarrely, I picked up physical editions of Persona 3 Reload and Infinite Wealth for only €30 a piece this week. Didn’t even notice they were still this expensive on sale on the PSN Store

Wait until "Alan Wake 2" is free or cheaper before getting it.

@breakneck Because anyone who is willing to pay full price would have done so after two months.
If you have the mental strength to resist FOMO then frankly you are always better off waiting a couple of months. The game will be patched by then too.

@Lynox5 exactly there was an Amazon sale that just finished that had everything here much cheaper physical I'm disappointed by these prices when they don't look like a sale compared to that at all. Mediocre deals at best.
Worth noting that there's over 60 PSVR2 games on sale too, including some of the top ones, but yet again PSVR2 gets ignored unless it's something negative or worthy of clickbait.
Think I’ll probably pick up Banishers Ghosts of new Eden. I’m just wrapping things up on Horizon forbidden west/Burning shores, so am looking for a new game. I’ve decided to hold off on Dragons dogma 2 until they’ve improved performance.

Sony need to do curated sales for each member. These sales are just blatant now. They keep doing the same games and same prices for a year under new name of promotions that goes live every second week.
Only 1-2 games actually get gradually better discounts

Still waiting for a 50% sale for RDR1 PS4, Star Trek Resurgence, The Expanse and Amnesia The Bunker. Also I'll get Signalis when the QOL patch comes to PS4. Definitely not buying it until then.

Just got FFXVI for £29.99 at Amazon, I was on the fence about it, but that’s “roll the dice” money. I’ll get around to it once I’ve finished FFX HD remaster (which I still love). Can’t wait for its episodic remake, the final episode will, no doubt be out by 2040😂
@Jamesblob, that’s a problem with the Playstation store. Such a pain to scroll through, I tend to only look at my wishlist now (31 entries for Snowrunner!)

There are a couple of bargains I saw for less than a fiver. Titanfall 2 was about £2 which is one of the best FPS games out there to this day, in terms of campaign, looks great still on PS5 too.
The pilot star wars game is about £1.80 hah, defo worth it.
I got Spiderman Remastered, it was a toss up between that and Hogwarts, i'm a fan of neither license but the games are just so good I still want to play them.

@breakneck Because successful doesn't equal evergreen. Sales slow down after the initial launch window for most games and a discount always helps flatten the curve.

I prefer physical copies as well, for various reasons but for those who prefer digital, that price is a good one.
Definitely treating myself to Alan Wake 2, finally got round to playing through Control recently and that has got me so hyped for AW2!😁 Would've preferred a physical copy but sadly there was no AW2 physical version release!! BOOO...Sucks!!!😞🙁😣
I knew waiting on a sale on "Penny's Big Breakaway" would pay off eventually but even I wasn't expecting 1/3 off in just a month. Thanks to all the people who paid full price day 1 so the devs could get paid so I don't have to feel guilty buying it cheaper now. 😁

Edit: Penny is on sale in the US, not sure if it's part of this sale or not. GoW:R not on sale, still going strong for $70. I think I've seen Spiderman 2 on sale more than GoW:R, though probably not digitally.

X-COM 2 has a very big discount. I have all DLC and expired subscription, so now I have it for the times I am not subbed. I found out very late how good this game was, so if you need good, cheap strategy games this is the one for you!
