Compile Heart, the Japanese dev behind franchises like Hyperdimension Neptunia, is keeping itself busy under its revised management structure, which went into effect on 1st October. Moving forward, the company will be led by industry veterans Naoto Tominaga and Hikaru Yasui, both of whom are committed to continuing the studio’s lineage of niche, otaku experiences.

To underline that commitment, it’s announced a bunch of upcoming titles, including the delivery-themed RPG Todokero! Tatakae! Calamity Angels, which will launch on PS5 and PS4 next summer. “This slapstick-style game will feature voluptuous, cute, and comical characters designed by Kei Nanameda, and story and gameplay that revolves around various personality types like moe and airheads,” an excerpt translated by Gematsu from Famitsu reads.

It’s also working on Touhou Spell Carnival, a combination of bullet hell shooter and tactical gameplay. There are no specific platforms attached to this yet, but it’s pegged for multiple consoles and we strongly suspect PlayStation will be among them. In fact, it sounds like Compile Heart’s overarching strategy is to release on more consoles in general.

The rest of the studio’s lineup is a little more vague, but it’s plotting an unnamed shmup with M2, as well as various Death End Re;Quest titles. And of course, a numbered Neptunia title is also currently in production, with more information to follow at a later date.

That’s a lot to keep the company busy, but it certainly looks like a compelling offering. Is there anything here of interest to you? Compile your heart in the comments section below.
