Following a Trophy list leak last week, it's been confirmed the side-scrolling puzzle-platformer Somerville is releasing on PS5 and PS4 on 31st August 2023. From developer Jumpship, the studio is made up of former Playdead members, best known for Limbo and Inside. Check out the announcement trailer above.

The game first released for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC late last year to a generally positive reception from critics, garnering a Metacritic rating of 71. The trailer doesn't mention any new content or features, so the PS5, PS4 versions are expected to be the same as what's available elsewhere, with post-launch patches already bundled in.

"In the wake of catastrophe you must find the means to make your family whole again," the PS Store listing reveals." Somerville is a Sci-Fi adventure grounded in the intimate repercussions of large scale conflict." It follows closely in the footsteps of High on Life, which was also ported to PS5, PS4 consoles recently. Have you been waiting for Somerville on PS5, PS4? Save your dog in the comments below.
