Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth PSP

PSP game Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth will be bundled in with the deluxe edition of Valkyrie Elysium on the PS Store, it has been confirmed. The new Square Enix RPG confirmed a release date of 29th September 2022 overnight, and the game's pre-order listings now reveal Lenneth — which is a PSP port of the original PS1 game Valkyrie Profile — will be included in the ÂĢ69.99/$74.99 version.

You'll also get the Valkyrie equipment "Svartaljr" along with PS5 and PS4 copies of the base game in the pricier edition, the PS Store reveals. Then there are also three days of early access and another piece of Valkyrie equipment: the Alscir: Sword of the God of Light. The most interesting inclusion here is the PSP port of Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth, though, and the PS Store listing confirms the game will also be sold separately on the same day as Valkyrie Elysium's release date.

This could well open up the possibility of the title being included in the PS Plus Premium tier, which grants you access to classic titles from the PS1, PS2, PS3, and PSP generations. Should that be the case, we would expect the news to be shared during the mid-monthly PS Plus update that focuses on the highest tier along with PS Plus Extra. The selection of older titles available on PS Plus Premium leaves much to be desired at the moment, so Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth would be a welcome addition.

However, if that doesn't happen, at least we know the game can be purchased separately. Do you have fond memories of Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth? Share them in the comments below.
