Sony’s absence at E3 2019 contributed to one of the worst conventions at the American game show since the event began two decades ago, but the platform holder will exhibit at Gamescom 2019 and Tokyo Games Show 2019. While there’s no confirmation of any press conferences right now, the company will be present on both show floors, showcasing its latest wares.
Exactly what it’ll be demoing is up for debate: Death Stranding is possible, we suppose – while the likes of Dreams and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare make sense. We should get some news soon, as the German convention specifically is less than a month away. In the meantime, the platform holder is planning a showcase in Shanghai on 1st August.

I'm betting on some new trailers and possibly some release dates, hopefully for Ghost of Tsushima.
There's only one gameplay demo I'm looking forward to seeing at Gamescom.

They pretty much need to just to promote Concrete genie, medevil and dreams which is hopefully released fully soon.

I dont think Sony being absent was an issue. They have the same problem all the other companies (Except Square and Nintendo) had.

They just saved themselves the embarrassment. Heck if Sony was there it would have been WORSE.

@TheLastOfUs2 I'm sure news is coming but unless there's going to be a press conference at Gamescom (and there's no confirmation of that right now) then we just need to wait patiently.

They really need to start shouting about dreams imo as I feel people are sleeping on it and don’t really know what it’s about...
Dreams will be there for sure, there's an event here on Brazil this week (25 - 28 July) called GameXP 2019, the first game park in the world, and Sony will be there with Dreams, Days Gone, Iron Man VR and other games to be played by anyone who wants it.
I will test it.
