Destiny 2's final update ahead of Forsaken's launch is available to download now on PlayStation 4. Patch 1.24 is 7.5GB in size, and makes way for the aforementioned expansion, which goes live later today.
As you'd imagine, the update paves the way for Forsaken, and obviously, you'll need to get it downloaded before you can have a crack at the expansion. If you're not sure when Forsaken releases in your region, check out our launch times guide.
It's also worth noting that Destiny 2 is now down for maintenance as Bungie gets everything working. When it comes back online, Forsaken should be good to go.

Hole who buy enjoy it me I won't be buying it even though I added the game to my account for ps+ I already have it on disc. I see the store in UK has a special offer for the first season pass, if I want to finish the story which I haven't done I'll get the collection when and if d3 comes out but then I wont be interested as I probably after finishing my backlog have started Witcher 3 by then lol
I'm so tempted to play this. Even though I didn't play the first and will be playing it single player, is it worth it?
I haven't got the room for this update, it says I need at least 27 gig free space. Time to delete some less prioritised games. My hard drive has had more scrubs than Fortnite.

I’ve been really enjoying all the single player bits, its got really tight shooting mechanics that seem to have a better sense of progression when playing on your own than the first.I’ve not touched anything multiplayer and am playing with my PS4 showing offline as I have lots of friends constantly playing it and it’s easier not to have to explain to them I want to go solo. The first one friends kept joining me much higher ranked and took all the fun out as they ran around easily killing everything, so I sold that quite quickly.
Destiny 1 was my most disappointing game of all time (by miles). So far though, I'm enjoying 2 quite a bit.
Perhaps it's because I got 2 for free, while I paid $60 for the demo in 1.
@NathanUC Same here. I waiting for the point when I get bored of the repetition.
