Sony’s released another one of its amazing PlayStation 4 musical montages in Japan, and this may be the best one yet. The theme this time revolves around a series of records, each representing a different release. The trailer appears to focus on Early 2018 titles, but interestingly includes God of War and Detroit: Become Humant among its ranks. Could they be closer than we think?
This is a brilliant lineup of software, by the way. There’s so much variety, and the fact that the video finishes by dropping a dozen or so additional games shows the depth of the system’s catalogue. Which of the highlighted titles are you planning to pick up? Drop your needle in the comments section below.

These videos always get me pretty hyped for what's coming up. Job done, I guess.
Maybe God of War and Detroit are coming really soon indeed, because this ad focused on Early 2018 only, if it was the entire year, they would include games like Spider-Man, Dreams, Red Dead Redemption 2, Days Gone, etc. When the new Yakuza will be released?
The best place to play, no doubt about that. ^^
Awesome stuff. This year is going to be great.
I'm hoping by the end of this month they give us the release date for God of War !
I'm sticking my neck out and say GoW for March, Detroit (If Eurogamer allows) late April, Spiderman in June possibly E3 week and Days Gone in August.
I would buy nearly all of these vinyls
I can't stand the music!!! What a cacophony!!!
The only game amongst the ones shown that is a 'maybe' is God of War for me. Far Cry 5 could be a potential buy but less likely to be in the first month or two than God of War. Its clear this is aimed much more at the Japanese market but surprised Yakuza 6 wasn't mentioned.
Both GoW and Detroit seem to have been knocking around for ages now so I can see both making it out before E3 2018. Spider-Man too was also absent from this but it seems that can't be too far off now either. I know Days Gone is slated for a 2018 release - almost certainly in the 2nd half of this year. It seems more 'ambitious' than others expected - big open dynamic world with massive enemy counts - the Hordes of Freakers. The different AI that everything has depending on day/night and even the weather as well as the environmental aspect too seems far more ambitious and technically challenging than the other games Sony are bringing so it wouldn't surprise me if this does take longer than the others. Of course that also assumes they were at similar points in their development when we first saw them and that the 'teams' working on these are similarly sized and capable.
All in all it's looking like another good year for gamers - even if a lot don't actually appeal very much to me from this little selection.
God of war is definitely coming in March.can't wait.word up son
"Could they be closer than we think?"
Did we ever think they weren't coming in the first half of 2018? They've confirmed that several times.
@BAMozzy Yakuza 6 has already been out quite a long time in Japan, hence its absence.
The playstation 4 future is bright, I can't say the same thing for my wallet in 2018 though
There's too many games that I want to buy in that list
Thanks for the share, this video has doubled my hype for 2018!!!
Some of the worst music I've ever heard.
Just GoW for me, thanks.
