We feel like Destiny 2 got off to a good start, but as with the first game, we're now seeing a lot of complaints floating around the 'net. The most popular criticism seems to be that the sequel's endgame just isn't compelling enough. Once again, we're seeing dedicated players polish off just about everything that the release has to offer before demanding more.
Bungie had this exact problem with the original Destiny, and that's where it used expansions to build upon the base game and give players more content to chew through. With the title's first add-on due in the not so distant future, the studio wants to know what you want from it.
"What would you most like to see in the first expansion?" asks director Christopher Barrett on Twitter, opening the floodgates for hundreds of snarky replies. The developer implemented a lot of fan requested adjustments in Destiny 2, so it's no surprise to hear that the studio is open to more feedback.

Matchmaking in all game modes.
It's a bit tough because they've given more legendaries so people feel like they are being rewarded, but it's completely devalued them.
Doing activities like Adventures isn't really worth it because you get rare gear (which is generally lower than your power level) and tokens (which you can use to buy lower level legendaries). So what's the point, other than doing them for the fun of it and the story? To be honest, those reasons should be enough but in a loot driven game all that stuff gets lost in the background and you just want to be working toward making your character stronger.
I guess I'd like to see more customisation and perks across weapons, abilities and armour.
Really though, the games pretty great.
@AFCC doesn't the guided games kinda allow for that now? Not used it myself.
lol the expansion is already pretty much close to being done, this is a waste of time or gets used for future expansions.

Since the expansion is out before the end of the year I can't imagine much will change based on feedback anyway. Also asking people for what they want for something they've already paid for is cheeky. They should have stuck with one expansion a year with free seasonal events.

I use a site called ftw but it's such a pain having to add like 4 people so me and my friend can play (and lose) leviathan. Just press X for matchmaking, simple. Not everyone has 4 or 5 friends that are constantly available

@Deadstanley Do we really want new races? Seems a bit silly to just keep throwing new races into the mix. I'd like to see more of the same races - the Vex could be really interesting, for example. I agree we should see more units - some female enemies perhaps? Those Cabal and Fallen must be reproducing somehow...
@Deadstanley Yup I'm really hoping for a big Vex blow out, the Vault of Glass lore is awesome. Agree, too much recycling of assets, but I don't think new races is the answer, at least not yet - I'd rather they build on what's there. Which, to be fair, they kinda are slowly. Cabal were basically nothing in D1. Although granted the D2 story isn't particular inspired either lol.

The universe right now is too small, Its a valid point of lack of things to do as Ive played and loved maybe 30 hours and seen almost everything. Last night as a single player, I didnt have a real aim as I had 2 milestones left. I couldn't play the nightfall with out friends and am not ready to raid. So my must have is;

I honestly want to see more background characters. I feel like I was fighting to save Cayde, Ikora, and Zavala, and maybe a couple other characters. I don't really have this sense that I just saved our solar system. Maybe it's just me, but I'd like to see some families, or some kids running around (in safe areas obviously, like the farm). I know this isn't going to win a story-line-of-the-year award or be a tear-jerker, but I feel like this small change could make me feel a little bit more. See some people who aren't "in the fight" that I feel like I helped save.
I’m loving D2! As it’s SO solo friendly!! I’m 298 and that’s without doing the raid and I’ve been told I can get 305 without raid, so whatever they do I hope I can still get to the new max light as a solo player 😬, love the Guided Games!! I use it all the time for Nightfall and every time we have completed it!! I always found it hard to find a group on D1 so gave up on the game and only had the one character but o can see myself staying around and making all 3 characters on D2, so please whatever they do keep it solo friendly❣️❣️

I'm hoping since they succeeded reeling in new players, they do something to reel back in the ol hardcore D1 players... If not... I'll still play it but my heart will forever belong to D1❤

I would like to see some new boss design. Its all the same always. Nothing unique about the bosses, just reskinned standard models.
For guided games, I actually do like it. I now ordered me a proper headset for Destiny 2 and also upcoming Battlefront 2, so I can better communicate.
But since I am mainly a story player, I will ask them to please keep up the work on story telling and cinematics, maybe even include more NPCs to do missions together with you.
