It comes as no surprise, but it's still newsworthy: Dragon Quest XI is going to be released here in the West. The confirmation doesn't come from Square Enix itself, but rather a Dutch public relations company. Said company told Dutch site Gamer.nl that it's handling the role-playing game's Western PR, which obviously means that the release will be arriving on our shores at some point in the future.

It's not quite the grand announcement that we envisioned, but it'll have to do. There's currently no launch date or anything like that, either - just subtle confirmation that the game is indeed heading our way. Dragon Quest XI hits store shelves on the 29th July in Japan.
