Fallout 4 is finally getting PS4 Pro support next week, Bethesda has confirmed. Patch 1.9 will add in some extra graphical oomph for those of you playing on Sony's supercharged system, with the developer promising native 1440p resolution, enhanced draw distance, and better god ray effects. Basically, it's going to look a lot sharper and a lot more dynamic.
The question is, though, are you still playing Fallout 4? If not, will this update be enough to drag you back to the wasteland? Use the enhanced draw distance to better snipe your enemies in the comments section below.

I hear Preston has news of a new settlement.
On a side note, the PC version is getting high resolution textures soon as well. Requiring a WHOPPING 58GB of space, and the best video card available. I sure hope the Pro patch doesn't break anything.
I'd rather they increase the field of view this is one of the few games that gives me a headache when I play due to the terribly low FOV.
After getting the Plat and going well over 100 hours it would be hard to go back without new content. Which isn't going to happen.
I hate that developers only go for higher resolution or better graphics but rarely framerate. I am a 60FPS junky. I want every game run smoothly. 30FPS is just horrible. I accept it but I don't like it. So why do the developers not give the customers the choice: Better graphics in 30FPS or not so good graphics but 60FPS.
I bought the game shortly after release and didn't touch it yet, so yes, I will play it with the pro patch.
YESSSS. Finally! I'm close to the Skyrim plat, and I've got some DLC trophies to get as well, then I'll head back into FO4 and get the DLC trophies for that one as well. I haven't played Nuka-World yet because I was waiting for this patch! Can't wait!
@Sanctanox I just can't imagine any Bethesda game running at 60. I can't even imagine them running at a smooth 30. :/
Don't own it anymore, the DLC and Mods were pretty poor. Still have my pip boy!
@glassmusic PC lol
This is probably the only reason I haven't traded it in yet, if it's any good I may have a second go if I get the time. On a side note do we get our fog back on Far Harbour?
@Sanctanox I think 60 fps is more demanding & difficult to code than resolution upgrade, and while ps4 pro is about 2x more powerfull than ps4 old, it's not enough to make 30 fps games run 60 fps, except if they make the games considering ps4 pro from the beginning like kingdom hearts 0.2 birth by sleep fp.
I don't have problem with 30 fps on others genre but I think all first person shooter on ps4 should be 60 fps, it's uncomfortable to play first person shooter at 30 fps.
And I still want 60 fps or at least stable 30 fps bloodborne on ps4 pro
No because I only have a HD 1080p tv.
Oh, and dont own a PS4 Pro 😂
