At Sony's PSX 2016 press conference this evening, Capcom announced the latest entry into the Marvel vs Capcom series. Officially entitled Marvel vs Capcom Infinite, the game will feature 2v2 battles as opposed to the 3v3 of prior entries, and will include a slew of gaming modes including, yes, Arcade mode. It looks like Capcom has learned its lesson after all.
To whet our appetites for the series' return, PlayStation's Shawn Layden also announced that PS3's Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 would be available today on PS4 from the PlayStation Store. Expect to see the first gameplay footage of Infinite this weekend.

Always wanted to try out this series, now I finally get the chance to. Very nice.
BTW I don't think that is the right trailer ...lol
@Vix Fixed. Sorry about that
I have MvsC 3 Ultimate on my Vita, hope to get it free on PS4.
But we're talking Capcom here...so, probably not gonna happen
Nice, looking forward to Infinite. Also, I kind of hope the PS4 version of 3 is either cheap or free.
Guess the rumors were true, nice. Looks like there won't be any X Men though. And I hope the infinite doesn't stand for infinite combos. If so, I'm staying away from this game. Lol.
Looks like I'm eating my hat. I really didn't think it would be a thing, and I made no bones about that.
That said, here's hoping Capcom can tie their shoe laces.
It was hilarious when the crowd screamed when they saw that cape (of what they thought was Dr. Strange) followed by a collective "Huh?". Amazing.
BTW the game costs $24.99 in North America. Not terrible, but I was hoping it'd be a $20 at most. Oh well, maybe it comes with ALL the DLC this time?
Edit The Page says it comes with ALL the DLC, so I guess that's a pretty fair price.
Is this coming to Vita also?
@JaxonH Unfortunately not. Just PS4, Xbox One, and PC as it stands.
Is UMvC3 a USA exclusive? I can't find it on the Australian store... =/
I wonder why if they have the rights for a PS4 release why they also didn't put it back in the store for the Vita & PS3?
