Whew, seeing a new trailer for Giant Sparrow's new title was actually quite a relief. The Unfinished Swan released back in 2012, and it's been plucking away at the follow-up What Remains of Edith Finch seemingly ever since. While there have been a few trailers, details have been scarce since the last one back in early 2015. We were worried something might have happened to the game, but luckily it's still on the way.
Curious though is the absence of Sony Santa Monica's logo at the opening of the trailer. The title is now being published by Annapurna Interactive. Did something happen, or was it just a natural shift in publishers?
The game looks as dourly charming as ever, and even more amazing was that Giant Sparrow's newest trailer brought with it a release window. What Remains Of Edith Finch is currently targeting a Spring 2017 release window, and it cannot get here soon enough.
Watch the trailer and let us know if you're as ready to explore the tradgedy of the Finch family as we are in the comments section below.

Looks boring.
@MinerWilly I loved Unfinished Swan so much! They announced this ages ago and then went dark for a while, so I'm really excited it's on the way soon. Giant Sparrow's awesome!
Is this from the same crowd who did The Vanishing of Eathan Carter game?
Great trailer!
@itshoggie Nope. Giant Sparrow's only other game so far is "The Unfinished Swan".
Ethan Carter (also a great game!) was The Astronauts!
Ooh, really like the look of this. Seems very intriguing and atmospheric.
