Battlefield 1's Beta Attracted a Ridiculous 13.2 Million Players

Unfortunately for EA, the Beta was so terrible I will no longer be purchasing BF1. COD and Titanfall it is.

Fun beta but poor game, I enjoyed it but i've recently started BF4 again. In comparison it's a joke the offering they have given us in BF1, BF4 make's a mockery of BF1. Unfortunately i'll probably still get it, physical copy though because I know i'll be bored of it after a month like Battlefront and i'll alway's have BF4 to fall back on (again, 4 year's old that game and still the best shooter on PS4). TF and CoD i'll get at a much later date when they're on the cheap.

Tried it, hated it. The trailers made it seem like it would be interesting but it's basically just another reskin of a bland shooter.

Absolutely loved it , only game I've pre-ordered so far this generation.

Loved Battlefield 1 just like all the other games they put out. Made me realise there is no point in buying Titanfall or COD as I just would not spend time on them. COD did tempt me with the remaster but they aint getting my $

Played it and it was alright but it was BF4 with a WW1 skin.

Got the beta and wont buy the game even at $20.

Tried the Overwatch free weekend and purchased the game the following day.

Not only I found Overwatch more fun and interesting but they let me keep my progress.I loved that.

i'm another who won't be buying it after playing the beta. personally, i didn't think it was really that much like a re-skinned BF4.. i found it had more in common with battlefront. maybe it didn't help that the map was absolutely woeful.. i don't know what's happened to map design in BF games, but it hasn't been great since the bad company games which were vastly superior to both BF3 and 4 imo. they only design one map and then try and crowbar different modes on to it, which has made most of the maps rubbish for rush. that BF1 map was just a campers paradise for snipers. i'd much rather have a BF:BC3, than another game in the main BF franchise.

The beta convinced me not to buy the game.

I didn't bother but I'll be buying it by crimbo anyway.

Pre-Ordered! Most fun ive had with BF since 3!

Loved the beta and there will most likely be better maps when the game is out, you can't really judge the whole game just on a beta with one map. Will be pre-ordering the Ultimate Edition, can't wait!

I loved it! Played the sh*t out off it and ik it felt abit like Battlefront but wouldn't say it was as casual as Battlefront was. Idk just felt a more full game even though it was only a beta with one map!? I just get the feeling this is going to be my go to FPS for a good while. Lots of nice little improvements to the game and even though it plays like Battlefront gameplay wise you can definitely see it is a BF game. My only problem was I didn't feel the pick ups that people could get we're necessary and felt overpowered, prefer it if they weren't there at all but my only complaint really. So I will be picking it up either at launch or at the latest Christmas.

Rofl this game is nothing like BF4 maybe a Battledfront or BFH reskin, the ONLY thimg that's the same is the fact it has conquest. No bullet drop, jousting, Battlefront pickup's crap plane's that fly like remote control car's......Battlefront. To say this game is BF4 reskined is the ultimate insult to BF4. Still getting this game coz it's the best out of the crap on offer.

@luke17 I also thought titanfall was more fun. BF1 was fun, but I didn't really think it was better.
