Fans of the Zero Escape series may feel like punching the sky right now, as Aksys Games has announced that both 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors and Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward are being ported to additional platforms. There's no word on which systems the love will extend to, but we imagine that the former will deploy on the PlayStation 4 and Vita, while the latter will likely drop onto Sony's new-gen system as well.
Zero Time Dilemma recently released on handhelds in North America, so this is a good time for fans of visual novels. There's a comparison image of the 999 port embedded below.

FINALLY - 999 - I hope its comin to Vita/PS4, always was sad about missing out on that one and so glad to finally be able to experience the whole story now that a predecessor comes along ^^
It's awkward having 999 on DS with the other 2 on Vita.
Nice to complete the trio on one system.
I don't think a PS4 release in the cards. PC/Vita seems very likely, though. At the very least, Uchikoshi has been hinting very strongly at those two. Which would make sense, considering VLR is available on Vita and ZTD is available on both Vita and PC.
Great news!
they have confirmed that 999 is coming to Vita/PC with voice acting... the added voice acting is a nice enough bonus to make me replay 999 again on Vita
Yes! Will definitely buy - the DS game never came out here in Euro...in the UK.
I would really love to play these games. Hopefully they will come to PS4
YES YES YEEEES.....
now that is what i needed, never had the chance to play 999.
God bless you Aksys Games:)
Might get 999 if it comes to PC.
Have both oh DS and 3ds. Awaiting my physical copy of zero time dilemma for the vita atm.
Wish it got a physical release in Europe, thank god vita is region free.
