Final Fantasy VII 7 Remake PS4 PlayStation 4 1

According to Famitsu magazine, the "scenario" for the first part of Final Fantasy VII Remake is complete. What this actually means is anyone's guess, but we'd wager that Square Enix is referring to the story and game design – not the actual development. The report does continue, however, that the team has been receiving advice from the studio assigned to Kingdom Hearts III, as both games are being built with Unreal Engine 4. Maybe it's further along than we think?

Exactly what the first episode in the Final Fantasy VII Remake saga will entail remains to be seen, but the publisher has promised that each instalment will consist of a "full-sized game". Apparently, the firm already has an idea of how many parts it will make, but it's not ready to discuss that with the public yet. Again, we'd guess that it will probably be a trilogy, but we'll have to wait and see. Are you still sceptical of this release strategy? Cut us with your Buster Sword in the comments section below.
